LOVE ME, MY OLDER BRIDE

"You are an old expired woman! You should be thankful I gave you attention. Most women your age are not worth it. You're... what? Forty? Expired!"

Ava felt that to her bones.

This wasn't just an insult; it was an attack on her very being, her self worth.

Expired?

*****

Single at 37, Ava was ready to move on from a painful, traumatic past until the four men who sexually harassed her one night were found the next day, good as dead, beaten beyond recognition.

A coincidence? Karma? No one knows.

But that was only the beginning.

A mysterious young man named Kai appears, right on time to rescue her from her abusive relationship.

However, Kai isn't just anyone.

He's the little boy she once saved. The one who had made her laugh with his innocent promise:

"One day, I'll grow up strong and rich. Then, I'll marry you."

Ava had laughed and jokingly accepted his marriage proposal.

She never thought much of it.

It was just a joke from a boy younger than her.

A childish promise that will be forgotten, nothing more.

So why is he standing before her, claiming to be her husband?

After nineteen years!

He's all grown up now.

Powerful. Wealthy. Unstoppable.

Despite their daunting 11-year age gap, Kai will stop at nothing to tear down the walls around her heart and prove he's the only man who will ever love her the way she deserves.

Even if she's not ready.

Even if she fights it.

Even if she resists.

He swore he'd have her.

And Kai always keeps his promises.

She was his savior. Now, she's his obsession.
