The replacement princess

Miriam and Jade are twin daughters of Queen Abigail, and because the monarch disappeared under mysterious circumstances, the court grants Miriam the rights necessary to maintain control over the nation. However, the young woman dies while giving birth to her firstborn daughter, so Jade is given the title of regent to be in charge for a limited time.
