Chapter 3 The Warning

Davien's eyes seemed to bore into Zaliyah's soul as he spoke, his voice low and serious. "We've received a message from one of our sources within the DiMarco organization," he said. "They're planning something big, something that could affect our family's business and our lives." Zaliyah felt a surge of fear as she realized the gravity of the situation. She had always known that the DiMarcos were a powerful and ruthless organization, but she had never thought that they would pose a direct threat to her family. "What is it?" Zaliyah asked, trying to sound calm. "We don't know yet," Grayson said, his eyes narrowing. "But we need to be prepared for anything. We can't let our guard down, not even for a moment." Zaliyah nodded, feeling a sense of determination wash over her. She knew that she had to be strong, that she had to support her family in this time of need. As they discussed the situation further, Zaliyah couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. She knew that the DiMarcos were not to be underestimated, that they would stop at nothing to achieve their goals. But she also felt a sense of pride, pride in her family's strength and resilience. They had faced challenges before, and they had always come out on top. As the meeting came to a close, Zaliyah's brothers handed her a small device. "This is a secure phone," Davien explained. "If anything happens, if you need to reach us, use this phone. We'll be in touch soon." Zaliyah took the phone, feeling a sense of responsibility wash over her. She knew that she had to be careful, that she had to protect herself and her family from the danger that lurked outside. As she walked away from the meeting, Zaliyah couldn't help but feel a sense of uncertainty. She knew that the road ahead would be difficult, that there would be challenges and obstacles to overcome. But she also felt a sense of determination, determination to face whatever came her way. She was a Morano, after all, and Moranos didn't back down from a fight. As she walked back to her room, Zaliyah's mind was filled with thoughts of the DiMarcos and their plans. She knew that she had to be vigilant, that she had to stay one step ahead of their enemies. But as she opened the door to her room, Zaliyah was confronted with a surprise. A small package was waiting for her, wrapped in plain brown paper and tied with twine. Zaliyah's heart skipped a beat as she realized that the package was addressed to her. But there was no return address, no indication of who had sent it. She felt a sense of unease as she picked up the package, her mind racing with possibilities. What could be inside? And who had sent it? As she carefully unwrapped the package, Zaliyah's heart sank. Inside, she found a small note, written in a handwriting she didn't recognize. "Stay away from the DiMarcos," the note read. "They're not what you think they are." Zaliyah felt a surge of fear as she realized the implications of the note. Who had sent it, and what did they mean? As she stood there, frozen in uncertainty, Zaliyah knew that she had to make a decision. She could ignore the note and continue to investigate the DiMarcos, or she could take the warning to heart and stay away. But as she looked at the note again, Zaliyah saw something that made her heart skip a beat. A small symbol was printed at the bottom of the page, a symbol that she recognized. It was the symbol of the DiMarcos.

That's everything available right now.
