Chapter 3 Three

Ten minutes later, Gabriella had her target tied up on a pole with the straps that were in the room for other purposes, she then splashed a glass of wine on his face to wake him up. “Sleep time is over.” “Cagna!” The man snarled at her. Gabriella frowned as she heard him call her a bitch, she grabbed a whip and swing it across his face. “Bastard!” She struck him a few more times until she saw blood. “I’m in charge here.” The man upon learning his mistake was more docile. “What do you want?” The anger in his tone was evident. “You are Luigi Salvi right?” Gabriella inquired but the man remained mute. Seeing as it would be difficult to get words from him, Gabriella pulled on a set of latex gloves before grabbing a knife, she leaned closer and traced it across his face. “We can either do this the easy way or I would rip out your innards and then cut you limb from limb. Your choice Amore.” A shiver ran down his spine as he heard her threat, the look in her eyes revealed that Gabriella would not hesitate to do as she said. “I am Luigi.” “Good. I have two questions and you are going to tell me the truth or you’ll lose one limb and I’ll start from here.” She pointed the knife between his legs. Dread settled in Luigi’s mind and he bobbed his head in agreement. There was nothing he could do as his hands and legs were tied up. “Okay.” “Two months ago, you and your friends invaded my home, killed my mother and took my sister. Who ordered you?” Luigi’s eyes widened in shock before it morphed to fear. “I don’t know.” Gabriella went to increase the sound of the music playing in the room to drown out any other sounds. “You say?” “I don’t know!” Luigi said out, louder this time. “Wrong answer!” Gabriella slashed the knife across his chest. Luigi screamed out in pain, fear overwhelmed him when he saw the anger and madness dancing in Gabriella’s eyes. His intuition was warning him. “That was just a warning, let’s try this again.” She lowered the volume of the music when his cries had turned to whimpers. “I really don’t know,” Luigi insisted. “My gang got the job from a man named Falco. We had to kill the woman and take the girl to a meeting point.” “Is that all?” She played with the knife with an expressionless face. “Ye- No! We got paid and we were ordered to keep our mouths shut. Please don’t kill me, I’ve told you all I know.” Luigi pleaded. Gabriella circled around him, seemingly lost in thoughts. All of a sudden, she grabbed him from behind, slitting his throat and slashing through the carotid artery. The next word that Luigi was about to say never came as he dropped to the ground, blood spurting from his neck and pouring around him. The thud of his body was barely audible over the sound of the music in the room. Upon inspection, Gabriella is pleased to see that the outfit was spared and only the gloves and knife was bloody. And no one would be finding it. She put away the knife and stepped over the body, it was quite a challenge to avoid the growing pool of blood now spreading across the floor and staining the rug but she is careful to leave no footprint. She snuck out of the room, ensuing to jam the lock before returning to the dressing room she had used previously for a change of outfit. The girl she had knocked out was still out cold so she dressed up and waltzed out of the club through the backdoor. No one took notice of her absence. * 03:00. Gabriella had changed into a bartender outfit, her actions of the previous our was kept at the back of her mind. Her demeanor was relaxed like she had not just killed a man by slashing his throat. It was like a regular night where she served men their alcohol drinks in one of the most exclusive clubhouse in the city. Lanificio. It was a members only club where the good and bad mixed together to make connections or just have fun. In the club, open gang fights or hostilities were not accepted. Rival gangs steer clear of one another. There was more to the club than the eyes could see especially where there was an anonymous owner. No one knew who he was or where he came from but it was evident that even the most dangerous gangs feared him enough to follow his rules. While some of the men discussed relationship problems with Gabriella, others tried to hit on her or get her name. One of her personal rule of being a bartender was never telling anyone her real name, Why? Because the club was were some of the most dangerous gangs in the city gathered. Some were well known for raping girls, child trafficking, money laundering, abuse and drugs. “Hello sexy lady,” A man in his thirties wearing black clothes with a completely messed up hair approached the bar. The bartender outfit that Gabriella wore did nothing to conceal her curves and the size of her breast. “What do you want?” Some of the men were really starting to bother Gabriella. She carefully cleaned the counter. “Get me a Dirty Martini, baby.” He smiled, showing her his teeth. “Don’t call me that.” Gabriella said with a clenched fist. “Why not? Baby.” “ Because I said so!” “Well you are so hot that I couldn’t help it. My cock went up just by looking at you.” He whispered. Gabriella gulped and turned around. “Do you want ice in your drink?” “Yes please, make sure it’s really hard.” “Sir I would stop if I were you.” Said another male voice. He looked quite young and wore a black leather jacket that made him look dangerous. “Or what, kiddo.” The creep answered while grabbing the drink that Gabriella made for him and sipping from it. “Call me that again and I will pluck out your eyeballs and force you to eat them like olives.” The man responded with a cold, creepy smile on his face. He no longer looked young but like a demon. The creep shuddered and walked away, not willing to anger the man any longer. Gabriella nodded to her savior. “Thank you.” “It’s nothing. I’m Lorenzo.” “What would you like to have?” “Just mix up a bunch of drinks and bring them to private room 8.” “Any specifics?” “I’ll have a Cape Codder, Dark Martini, Mojito and Pina Colada.” “Sure.” Gabriella nodded, turned around and grabbed a bottle of vodka, cranberry and pineapple juice. She took a highball glass, added two ounces of vodka and mixed it. She finished it up with a garnish lime wedge. “Would you like ice in it?” “Sure. I didn’t catch your name.” Lorenzo said. “That’s because I never told you.” She replied carefully. “Do not worry, you’re not my type. I’ll be waiting.” Lorenzo chuckled before turning around to leave. Gabriella looked dumbfounded by his words, then she frowned. “What does he mean by that?” Being a very attractive lady who constantly received attention and compliments, it was rare to see someone who looked totally uninterested in her. She had seen Lorenzo’s face when he said it and he was genuinely not interested. It took a while for Gabriella to realize that she had to take the drinks to a private room, she frowned at the thought of this knowing fully well that a lot of things could go wrong in a room that is private and soundproofed. She soon realized that Lorenzo would also be in the room. “He might just be meeting with his friends.” She reassured herself. She called her partner to take her place behind the counter before leaving with the drinks. There were body guards in front of the room, they glanced at her for a moment before opening the door. As she walked in, she noticed that the room had dim lightening, she could only make out a few faces in the room. “I was asked to bring drinks here.” The room was already quiet due to her presence so her voice was loud enough. “Yeah.” She noticed Lorenzo who walked out of a dark corner with an award winning smile on his face. “Care to tell me your name now?” He collected the tray of drinks from her hands and passed it to someone else. “No.” She said. Lorenzo shrugged before he walked back to where he was sitting earlier. Gabriella didn’t notice a man that was sitting in the darkest corner of the room who’s eyes had lightened up at the sight of her. “Wait!” An unknown male voice called out to her. Gabriella stopped and gulped in anticipation but didn’t turn around. The dark aura in the room and low pressure made her slightly nervous. The fact that she couldn’t see everyone on the room not does she know the number of people present also made her uncomfortable. She felt like she had walked in to a lion’s den and her sixth sense screamed danger. The man who had stopped her pressed up behind her in a heartbeat, his right arm wrapped around her throat while his left hand drew circles on her exposed arm. “Why don’t we have fun together, just you and I…. What do you say?” Gabriella reached up with both hands and grabbed the man’s right wrist, pulling his arm out and away from her throat. She flipped the arm side up, gripped it with her left hand then jammed down with her right, snapping his wrist.
