Chapter 2

We followed him out the door. We just kept walking until we got to the back. We were very careful with every step we took because someone might have woken up and we could grab their attention. The three men who were with Ella earlier did not follow us, maybe they went another way.

The room he said was not that far away, so we reached it right away. He ushered us into a large room. It is very big like a condo. Everything is complete, there is a kitchen, there is a cr, there is a sofa and there is a small room.

"This is your room. You are not allowed to go out until the higher-ups inform you that there are new members. There are two groups here, you will be grateful if you end up in the Elite group"

"And this is Amannia Dahlia Suarez, but you can call her Amanda"

Hussien just nodded slowly. "Be careful here. If possible, don't open the door casually. You can't go out until you are officially introduced, and this" he stepped towards the sofa and took some things from there. They were wrapped so we didn't see the look, but they were long. "Always bring these wherever you are. From now on, consider this an extension of your life" he took the cloths that were wrapped in the thing he was referring to and the long katanas were completely exposed to our eyes. He handed them to us one by one.

I could see Ella and Amanda's hands shaking as they accepted the katanas. Still can't believe our luck.

"W-What is this?" Amanda asked in a trembling voice.

"This is your protection. Later tonight, we will teach you how to use it. Prepare yourselves because you will participate in the training. Prime master told me that you have to know how to use weapon first before we introduce you"

"Is there anyone else's know about us except your prime master?" I couldn't stop asking that. If their prime master knows that we got in, it's not unlikely that many do too. I think, prime master has the highest position.

"Yes, only Prime master and my squad know, and by the way, you have to fill up this form" he took out a form and gave it to us.

This is an enrollment form.

We didn't waste any more time. After we filled up the forms, we immediately returned them to him.

"You have more time to rest. Don't go outside to avoid danger"

Because of what he said, I breathed a sigh of relief. Even though we are not sure of our fate here, at least there are still people who care about our lives and safety, and one of them we don't know yet is Prime master.

SEVERAL times Ella walked back and forth inside our room. We were both restless because a while ago someone kept knocking on the door. Ellice was constantly crying while sitting in the corner.

"FRANCE, we have to find a way to escape from here"

I let out a breath. I looked at Ella and felt like I was going to get dizzy from what she was doing. He holds the katana that Hussien gave earlier.

"We can't escape from here, Ella. You heard what Hussien was saying earlier, didn't you?" Amanda reminded Ella.

It's not that Ella doesn't get what Hussien was saying earlier, it's just that she can't accept our current situation, and I understand that.

I washed my face when I remembered Mitch. I need to find her. I have a strong hunch that he is still alive. We can't be together here, we have to fight together.

I quickly took my phone and checked it, it was six pm, we felt very bored earlier because we were locked in this room all day. Training starts tomorrow at eight pm so I still have time to find Mitch. I stood up and slung my katana behind me.

"Where do you think you're going, France?" Amanda asked me with raised eyebrows. He even stopped me by the arm and there was a threat in his eyes.

I didn't know that he saw my movements.

"I need to find Mitch, Amanda. I can't just sit here and do nothing. I will find him and bring him here"

"Are you crazy? By doing that, you're only making the situation worse! You can't put yourself in harm's way just because of him"

I pulled my arm that he was holding. "I need to go, I'm running out of time. Please Amanda. I need to save Mitch"

He slowly raised his two hands. "Fine, but you have to make sure you come back here safely. I need you, France"

I nodded and hugged him. He hugged me back. I even glanced at Ella and Ellice who were now facing each other. They have no idea about my plan and I have no intention of letting them know, because I know that like Amanda, they are also against it. They were a little far from us so they couldn't hear Amanda and I whispering.

I slowly opened the door so they wouldn't notice me. Amanda also signaled to me to hurry up. When I found an opportunity, I quickly stepped on my feet to get out for good. When I went out, the darkness dawned on me, only the light of each pole gave light.

I also see a lot of students with samurai clothes. I also saw something that I knew was not just training, but was going to kill. In my whole life, I have only seen a person killed, and in this way, they killed very brutally.

I was even surprised to see a woman suddenly stabbed in the neck by a man. I was so shocked that I couldn't help but scream. I quickly covered my mouth and stepped back. I started to get scared when there were three students looking at my place, even though it was dark in the part where I was standing, I still couldn't help but be nervous. I know they heard my scream earlier.

I took a step back when I saw three students step towards where I was. It was like they found out if there was anyone here where I was. I also covered my mouth very tightly because I was afraid that I might make noise again. My body was shaking because I felt like they saw me.

I stopped myself from letting out my sobs. My tears are starting to fall because of fear. My left hand still remained in my mouth while the right hand was tightly holding the katana hanging behind my back. My lips were trembling and my shoulders began to move because of my soft sobs.

I continued to step back until I felt that I bumped into something behind me. My body suddenly stiffened, but I still forced myself to turn around to see what or who hit me.

A man in a black hooded robe came to my view. My eyes traveled to his whole body. Despite being so nervous, I still managed to peek at his face, but I couldn't see his face properly because it was dark and he was also wearing a hood. There is only one thing I will never forget about him, his height and his green eyes that I can see through the reflection of the mirror behind me, because the mirror lit up a little and it met his eyes.

"Go back to your room" he ordered me coldly. His voice was weak and I think he did it on purpose, but his voice was very manly. Not scary.

I slowly lowered the hand covering my mouth. "W-Who are you" I asked him with a trembling voice.

"You shouldn't come in here anymore. You don't know that you put your lives in danger" He didn't answer my question. Besides, he still preaches to me, and I can feel his concern for us.

"N-We're lost" was all I answered.

"What's your name?"

"France"

"France. It's a nice name, but you won't be able to use it for long"

I looked down and that's how scared I was when I saw the samurai he was holding. It was pure blood and the rest was dripping on the floor. My whole body was shaking and I stepped away from him.

"After seeing this" he raised the samurai he was holding. "You have to avoid fear, for the sake of your safety"

"W-Who are you?" I continued to step back because of the fear I felt.

"You shouldn't know the person, but the movement. Go into your room, make sure it's locked until eight o'clock tonight" after he said that, he completely left in front of me. I didn't follow him anymore because I hurried back to our room.

I knocked loudly on our room and Amanda immediately opened it. He knew very well that I was the one who knocked so I couldn't see the fear in his eyes when I finally got inside.

"What happened? France, are you okay?" Amanda touched both my cheeks. I can't deny the concern I see in his eyes.

I clutched my chest while my whole body continued to tremble. "Mitch, there's no way we'll ever see Mitch again. It's scary out there"

"Sshh, it's okay. We can handle it"

I slid down while leaning against the door. I covered my face with both hands. I want to be brave, not only for myself. I'm afraid I won't be able to handle it and I won't be able to see my parents forever. From what I've seen before, I just don't know if I can stomach such activities.

Those thing is not for human, it's for evil who aren't afraid to kill.

"France, where have you been? What's wrong?" I could feel the worry in Ellice's voice.

He sat equal to me and held both of my hands. "What happened? Tell me what happened?"

I shook my head several times while keeping my hands on my face. "N-Nothing. I saw a man holding a samurai. I didn't recognize his face but I clearly see his eyes"

"Who is he?"

"I don't know. He didn't tell me his name. It's scary outside especially at night, but we don't have any choices. We have to be brave so that we can survive" my voice echoed. because I'm afraid someone outside will hear us.

After seeing what happened outside, my fear only got stronger. What happened here was inhumane. Taking life as if it was normal for them. That's not unfair. Why doesn't anyone discover this place?

There is no fear of beheading every person they trip. How I wish, this is just a dream, a dream that I can wake up at any time.

Suddenly we were alarmed by someone knocking on the door again. Knock that is not as loud as before. It was a smooth knock coming from anonymous.

Ella stood up and walked towards the door. "Maybe Hussien"

"Don't open the door, Ella" I stood up and quickly chased after Ella. "We need to be sure. Move"

Ella retreated and I took a position near the door. I looked for a small hole to see the person outside but I couldn't find any.

I walked over to the window next to the door and peered out through its small opening. I saw a man standing in front of the door, wearing a black mask and holding a knife.

I slowly raised my left hand to signal them to sit on the floor. They get what I mean so they sit on the floor together. I returned my gaze to the hole where the outside could be seen. The masked man still hasn't left and he's knocking on the door again and again.

Even though I was nervous, I insisted on staying near the door. I have already thought of a way when the man who repeatedly knocks insists on entering.

After a while we didn't hear any more knocking so I peeked through the hole again. I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw that the person who was standing there earlier was gone.
