Chapter 2 Anew House

"The cries of a woman trying to flee from her attackers, a little girl trying to hold on to her mother's waist while she watches her mother being pushed away from her. The little girl also screams In a frightened voice telling them to leave her mother."

That dream she faces every day, she feels that she saw It happen in a long time, but she comes back and tells herself that It is just a nightmare that you see In a dream

Rosie wakes up to the sound of her mother shouting her name:

Rosie, you have to get up, it's the first day of new school, and you may be late for It by continuing to sleep like that!!

With half attention Rosie listened to her mother, she wants her to wake up, she has to go to her new high school, they recently moved to town, you don't know why her mother Is doing that to them!! It doesn't take a while for them to settle in one town and then move to another town, she alwayss asks her mother why she does so, but she remains silent, telling her only a few words

- Rosie, my dear, you will understand everything when the time is right, you have to trust me, you will!

Rosie smiles at her mother, hugs her tightly, and tells her

- Yes, I do, I trust you, Mama!

The scene ends with a hug for each other with great love and warmth.

Rosé came back from her thoughts to her mother's voice, which resounded again while she was telling her

- Come on, get out of bed, breakfast is down, but before that you have to brush your teeth and freshen your face with water.

This time Rosie got out of bed, following her mother's order, went to the toilet, refreshed her face with cold water and took her toothbrush to start brushing her teeth.

A few minutes passed until Rosie came out of the toilet, went first to the wardrobe, wanted to pick out clothes worthy of school, took blue pants and with a white shirt painted with a few red roses that give him a beautiful look

She finished gettingg dressed after a few minutes and then walked towards the dressing table. She reached out and took the brush. She wanted to style her hair in the color of gold.

Then walked away from the dressing table, headed toward the bedside table, grabbed her schoolbag, and then walked outside in quick steps, where her mother was down there

Rosie went downstairs, where the dining table was In the middle of the living room, that house they had recently moved to, she liked very much, It was warm and comfortable. Kiss the girls there as It happens with her every time she transfers to a new school.

She finished eating and so did her mother, who told her to take her car key and then wait for her outside, until she finished putting the dishes in the sink and fetched her shoulder bag

Five minutes Is the time Rosie waited for her mother, she had entertained herself by turning on the music player In the car, and when her mother came and got into the car where the driver's seat was, she decided to lock it, she wanted to discuss with her mother something important.

In a calm tone, Rosie told her mother:

What are you going to do today, Mama?! Are you looking for a job in a bakery?!

While Savannah was starting to start the car to take her to her daughter Rosie's school, she was surprised to ask her that question, she thought for a few seconds and then turned her face towards her, putting a friendly and warm smile on her face, she answered,

Yes Rosie, you know, I have to get a job! The money I save from my previous job won't suffice our food and drink and your new school fees!

Rosie shook her head after listening to what her mother had to say

She knows that, becausee they moved every once In a while, and this made the money run out of them very quickly, she wanted to ask her mother again why they moved so much, she told her, saying:

- Mama, isn't It time for you to tell me why we moved from one town to anotherr after only a short time?!

Savannah was a little upset by her daughter Rosie's question, knowing that Rosie was no longer young and wanted to know why they were moving,

Strangely enough, that It was almost time for Rosie to find out why her mother did this, soon she would discover the big secret that she was hiding from her.

She wished Rosie would forgive her, but then fifteen years ago she had no choice but to do It, running away is what she chose, running away from,,,

Rosie's voice asks her mother:

Where did you go In your mind Mama?!

It made Savannah stop thinking about that distant past and look at her confused and curious daughter, Savannah sighed tiredly and then told Rosie:

- Rosie, my dear, soon you will know why we did this, but will you promise to take It well, and not to blame me!! You know how much I love you Rosie!!

Rosie felt more bewilderment at her mother's words, and inwardly wished that that time would come quickly becausee thinking about it really wears her out.

After Savannah drove to Rosie's new school, she parked In front of her and waited for Rosie to get out of the car. To this high school

In the corridor leading to the principal's room, Savannah asked a school employee whichh room belonged to the principal. The worker showed Savannah and Rosie to the room.

Savannah thanked the worker and began to knock quietly at the room's door, until a man's hoarse voice told her to go Inside, and when she When she did, she received a surprise she had never expected.
