Chapter 3 A twist of Fate At the Nightclub

Chapter 3 Twist of Fate At the Nightclub

Blondie Apple had finished her bath and blow-dried her hair. She opened her bag, intending to change into pajamas and go to bed, only to discover... Not a single item in her backpack was her own. Blondie Apple was immediately thrown into confusion. What a disaster. Her wallet, the admission documents from Yishan University, and some forms of identification were all in there. What happened? Did she make a mistake? Right- When checking in at the hotel reception, she remembered the backpack of a young wealthy man was exactly the same as hers. That must have been when the mix-up happened, right? Suddenly, a cell phone ring came from the backpack. It was his phone, but the incoming call was to her own number. She quickly picked up, "Hello, we got our bags mixed up, where are you? I'll find you to switch them back." From the sound of her voice, he could tell she was very worried. Cavan Noah considered it and gave an address. "Don't worry, see you at the Emperor's Nightclub. I'll be waiting for you." After the call ended, Blondie Apple was stunned for a while. Was this the same rich Cavan Noah from earlier? The voice sounded truly gentle. But- Emperor's Night Club? A nightclub? The red and green lights cast shadows everywhere, with music blaring, deafening the ears. On and off the stage, groups of young men and women wildly swayed their bodies, rubbing against each other. Blondie Apple instinctively frowned. Luckily, she had borrowed a set of cosmetics from the hotel lobby before she came, and had purposefully made herself look less attractive. Otherwise, a beautiful Blondie Apple like her strolling in a nightclub in the middle of the night would be too unsafe. She headed straight for the reception. "I'm looking for Cavan Noah, do you know where he is?" "Box 808." "Thank you, could you tell me which direction the box is in?" The bar staff impatiently pointed out the way to her, and Blondie Apple thanked him before leaving. Box 808? This is box 806, it should be right up ahead. Blondie Apple was sincerely finding her way when, suddenly- "Bang!" a sound echoed. A drunkard walked out of the private room and bumped into her, and she annoyingly dodged. "Hey-rude girl, just going right after hitting me?" Blondie Apple raised her eyebrow: "What else should I do?" "Either pay me money, or keep us company-" Blondie Apple was stunned. Were scams popular in nightclubs now? What's more exaggerated was that it was not just one person. As soon as the guy shouted, the private room door was opened, and a bunch of people rushed out. Blondie Apple immediately became tense. She wasn't afraid of one person, but she had no way to confront a group. She couldn't help but internally sigh about her bad luck; what a series of unfortunate events! "She's not much in the looks department, but her figure's decent, alright then, come in and entertain us!" Saying this, the group tried to pull her into the private room. Suddenly, a familiar-looking youth nonchalantly passed by her... Damn it! He actually just ignored her plight? Where is his decency? "Hey! Rogue." The boy turned his head, saw her, and exclaimed in surprise, "Did you really follow me all the way here?" Blondie Apple sweat-dropped. Just because you're handsome, it doesn't give you the right to be this narcissistic, right? "Don't worry, I am not here for you, but I need your help right now." "You need my help? I thought you were very powerful." Cavan Noah sneered. He had not forgotten; it was this Blondie Apple who almost got him caught by those people. Help her? Impossible. He isn't a saint- Blondie Apple frowned. This boy seemed to have no intention of helping her... She had imagined a hundred ways to get back at him when they met again in her mind. But she never thought she would meet him again under such circumstances. Talk about a small world for enemies!
