I wanted to bury my husband where we first met, but my children were fiercely against it.

I only found out why on the day of the funeral.

Louis had left a secret will behind my back. He wanted to be buried next to his first love, sharing a grave so they could continue their romance in the next life.

This turned our thirty years of marriage into a complete joke.

When I confronted the children I raised with my own hands, they spat insults at me.

"Dad is dead. This was his only wish," Silas yelled.

"You tied him down for a whole lifetime. Is it not enough? Why can't you let him go even in death? You are so wicked," Sienna added.

"Having a mother like you makes us sick," they said in unison.

I looked at the son and daughter who had stabbed me in the back and sneered in my heart.

Fine. Since you don't want me as your mother, don't even think about touching a single cent of my fortune.
