Chapter 2 Attitude

“Dahman, tell me! Why did you run out of the house all of a sudden before dinner?”

“It’s nothing really I just have to figure it out on my own.”

“Huh, you do remember we all talked about that it was a possibility that one of us sharing a mate at some point. So tell me who is she?”

“Jesus, Conall I told you I don’t want to talk about it right now. I have to figure it out on my own.”

“Listen I have always known that day in the airport that she was your mate too, but you did not know it at the time. Why do you think you have such strong feelings for her?”

“Gaylord is obsessed with her for some reason.”

“Because she is your mate, our mate. We have always known it so has she but she has never said anything. She knew who you were in Finland when Gaylord was present and not you.”

“Geez Conall I don’t think she would take me like that.”

“How do you know? Go have a date night with her I’ll even set it up, tomorrow tonight and that is finale.”

He set up the date night for his brother and his mate. But he knew there was a reason why it was him that would have to share her and he did not want too but it was the moon goddess’s will for this to happen. He just prayed to her that he would stay alive to see everything through.

“Mathe come to my office please and bring paper and pen.”

“Dude we all share the same office, why would I need to bring paper and pen?”

“You are out of them that is why.”

“Well, order some shit head.”

“Hey you are talking to your brother that is not my job, at least I didn’t think it was.”

“Conall since when do you not take care of office supplies?”

“Umm…hold that thought.”

“What I thought, you gave it to our Lunas’.”

Conall mind linked his wife to come to the office and she shows up looking at the two of them rolling her eyes knowing exactly why she was there.

“You boys’ are idiots you know that, you need to look in the closet here but also the very top drawers of your desks on the right side are pens, pencils sticky notes and small note pads. The middle drawer has all the papers that you need for larger note pads and loose leaf for binders. Printer paper is under the copier where the rest of the stuff is. In this closet here, come here, all is labeled with what you need for our offices. Now, good bye.”

They just stood there dumb founded that she and the others had organized all their desks properly and they never took notice before. There could not say a word but rub the back of their necks and went back to their desks and had a seat looking at each other. They were so curious they went through all the desks in the room and sure enough they guys were stocked full of everything from papers to staples to snacks. She even had a medium size fridge stocked with drinks and food.

“Damn how did we get so lucky with her?”

“Dude I don’t know, guess it’s the teacher in her.”

“You all are like kids…” she links them

They busted out laughing shaking their heads.

“I have to get to the restaurant shortly what did you want to talk to me about?”

“Dahman and his mate are going on a date tonight, so I need two of the best steaks one medium well and one, you know how Dahman like his done. Also have Cassie make something very special for dessert for them.”

“What you aren’t doing them?”

“Huh?”

“We all know it’s Dee, and known since the day we met her that you two would be her mates.”

“Well, shit crackers. I did not know everyone knew about it, Dahman is having a hard time with it and frankly I am too. It’s just a feeling that I have that something is going to happen with this stupid thing happening with Harry and all them.”

“Yeah, I get it and do not like the eerie feeling it’s leaving me. Evander is going to have Rebekka taking care of the elderly, pregnant women and small children and all those who cannot fight this war.”

“I have a feeling it’s going to start here and end up somewhere else.”

“But, back to their date I am sending them your way about seven pm.”

“Will be ready to receive them, but chow for now bro.”

They said their good byes and Conall went to work to set up the rest of their date for the night. He knows his brother very well and of course his own mate too. He laid out a gorgeous dress for her and paired it with matching shoes, jewelry and purse. He called in his troops to help Dee get ready for her date she did not even know that she was going on.

“Hey love how was training?”

“Sam and Rebekka both did an awesome job with training, Gene did a great job at helping them out so they could defend themselves against Carson. But Sam said something that kind of puzzles me.”

“What it was it?”

“He had gotten stronger than he had been before, Evander even said it was hard to kill him and he should have died for as much beatings as had taken but they had to decapitate two of his limbs to kill him and burn him.”

“Holy cow wonder what happened to him to make him that much stronger, because he should not have had that much strength over Rebekka.”

“Nope, I agree. So what are you doing with my clothes?”

“Going on a date tonight, go eat some lunch, come back and shower and the girls will be here to do your hair and makeup. You have about an hour and half to till they get here.”

“Yes, sir…but can we…”

He cuts her off by kissing her passionately turning her around smacking her on the ass and pushing her out their bedroom door. He finishes getting her stuff ready then goes to his office and finished up pack business. Since he does not have other business’s like his brothers he takes care of the pack and their things even though they have the main business that is New York which he is heavily involved in too but his brothers handle that mostly. 

What they have going works very well for them and has for hundreds of years. They employee humans that they can trust with the exception of Harry. He just shakes his head and moves on with other things that need to be taken care of.

“Dee, you in here?”

She did not answer because she was still in the kitchen but on her way up. She linked Conall to let him know and he smiled meeting her in their room.

“Go get in the shower then I am going to have you soaking in the tub of hot water with your favorite bombs and oils to sooth those muscles and make your skin silky soft.”

‘Conall I cannot go through with this, man I just cannot do it.’ Dahman mind links him.

‘Don’t make me come down there and kick your ass, it’s all set up and you are going now start getting ready. Dee is in the shower then she’s gonna soak in the tub and finish getting ready. Car leaves at five p.m. promptly, I mean it.’ Conall links back.

All Conall can think is that this boy needs an attitude adjustment real quick before shit hits the ceiling. After all we are a trinity and it is very common in our community.
