Chapter 2 Run..

Next morning back in the hotel room.. Adalia was scared out of her wits "Crap"! She cursed in silence while searching for her clothes. She was scared that Steve might get up so her actions were haste but soft. Gathering the clothes from the ground she put them like a thief while glancing at the man time to time who was sleeping peacefully under the quilt. He seemed to be disturbed! .....? Adalia suddenly realised the sun rays were directly hitting his closed eyes. 'Oh, it must be disturbing him.' Adalia put on her clothes clumsily, her mind in a mess........... She pulled the curtains down giving the room a dim vibe... Sigh........ She should leave now... She turned to the door and unlocked it. Before stepping out, she felt the urge to have one last glance at him.She looked at him holding the door knob... 'Brother Steve'..... Steve Evans, the man beyond anybody's reach.. Looking at him Adalia felt tears welling up in her eyes.... 'Why God?'.... 'That was just a sick joke, wasn’t it?' Where Steve was an emperor, she was just an ordinary maid..He was just too far beyond her touch.. Steve's complexions were very calm.. Looking at his calm face which seemed to be portraited by some famous artist, she felt heart wrenching pain engulfing her whole entity.. Though they were in the same room, precisely, they've spent the night together..Yet for her, it seemed like he was from another part of the world.. Where she can never reach...He was just too far from her...Too far...She smiled miserably... She wiped her tears and came out of the room .... Life was going to take her to another new Journey.... Adalia was walking aimlessly on the street. She was almost knocked out by a vehicle.. "Hey, you blind. Get the hell outta my truck." She didnt hear him clearly though the man was scolding her loudly. She kept looking at the man as if she had been hypnotized.....She stopped walking and sat on the ground near an old mail box leaning over her body...She was emerged in her thoughts.. How she was going to face everyone after what had happened..What if everyone knows this all.?.. How she was going to face her mother.. Her mother, Meta who would always say to her," you know what, you are my sweetest child, Addy..... Promise Mumma that you are never gonna disappoint me. When I'll take you to master's house you will be the most obedient, okay?"
