Chapter 2 betrayal

Alisa: "Your reputation? What does reputation mean if it is based on lies and betrayal?" Their debate continued, filled with burning emotions and piercing words. Alisa felt that her strength was fading, but she remained steadfast in maintaining her pride. Zayyan, on the other hand, grew angry and frustrated at not being able to get justification for his actions. Yet, among all the anger and destruction, there may be opportunities for reflection and repentance, even though the path to reconciliation seems increasingly distant. Alisa was devastated by Zayyan's series of harsh words. She could feel her confidence shattered as the presence of a husband who feels so different from what she used to know. Despite being injured, Alisa remained firm in her stance. Alisa: "Never mind, Zayyan. I will not continue to listen to my abuse of you. If you can't cherish and be loyal to our relationship, then we better end everything right now." Zayyan: "You can't do that, Alisa. You know how important my image and reputation are. You can't threaten to leave me." Alisa: "No, Zayyan. You are the one who cannot continue this affair and destroy our family. I won't stand idly by watching you break our marriage vows." Although her heart was broken, Alisa showed surprising courage and decisiveness. She will not allow herself to continue to be blamed for her husband's mistakes. However, Zayyan, in his confusion, continues to try to find justification for his actions. Zayyan: "What do you know about the responsibilities of being a husband? You only care about our children and forget me! Vania gave me the attention you can't give!" Alisa: "That's not true, Zayyan. I did the best I could, but you were too busy with your own affairs to see it. But I won't let you blame me for your own decision." Even though she was injured and shaken, Alisa still stood strong in her place. He knew that he could not allow himself to be trampled on and had to fight for his own dignity. However, in the midst of all the anger and despair, she still harbored little hope that her husband would realize his mistake and try to make things right. Zayyan feels even more frustrated because Alisa remains tough and does not want to accept his explanation. Anger and hatred filled his heart, making him even more defensive. Zayyan: "You can't just blame me, Alisa! You must also take responsibility for the destruction of our relationship. You never paid enough attention to me, even though I needed it!" Alisa: "Zayyan, I tried my best to keep our family intact. But how can I repair our relationship if you even cheat on someone else?" Zayyan: "You don't understand! Vania gave me what you can't give. She makes me feel alive again!" Alisa: "That's no excuse to have an affair, Zayyan. Your relationship with Vania is your own choice. You chose to betray me, nothing else is to blame." Zayyan: "You always make everything about you, Alisa! You are selfish and don't care about my feelings!" Alisa: "You really don't understand, Zayyan. I try to keep our family together, but I can't do it alone. We have to work together to repair this relationship." Their argument grew heated, filled with burning emotions and mounting tension. Alisa tries to restrain herself from dissolving into anger, while Zayyan continues to let out all his resentment and frustration. However, among all the chaos, there may be little hope for healing and reconciliation, if both are willing to throw away egos and listen better to each other. However, Zayyan is still too fixed on his anger and disappointment to listen with an open heart. He felt that he had been betrayed by Alisa, that he did not understand her needs, and that he deserved more credit.
