Chapter 1

The owner of the ramen shop downstairs is a fallen socialite with curves that could kill.

To boost her sales, she is willing to do anything.

She even launched a deal: spend four thousand dollars, and you can experience being the boss for a night.

If you upgrade to a permanent membership, the benefits are endless...

1.

A new ramen spot opened up downstairs, and the business is booming.

There are always long lines wrapping around the block.

People say it is all because of the owner's incredible body and a face that could rival a Hollywood star.

I was dying of curiosity.

I had to see what kind of magic this beauty was stirring into her broth.

One evening, I finished work late.

The shop was nearing closing time, and I stepped in just as the door was about to be locked.

I was lucky because the place was finally empty of other customers.

I glanced toward the kitchen, trying to find the woman everyone was drooling over.

I saw a woman in a denim mini-skirt and a tight apron.

She was busy scrubbing the counters.

The apron was tied tight, accentuating her waist and chest.

As she leaned over to wipe the tables, her curves swayed and shifted with every movement.

I could not take my eyes off her.

She was wearing polka-dot stockings under her skirt, and her heels clicked sharply against the floor.

Every now and then, she would pause to wipe the sweat from her forehead.

She really did have that classic, timeless beauty the neighbors raved about.

"Hey, I'd like a bowl of ramen," I called out.

I had seen enough for now, but I still wanted to taste her cooking.

The owner stepped out of the kitchen.

"I'm so sorry, we're closing up for the night. You'll have to come back tomorrow."

We locked eyes, and I nearly jumped out of my seat in shock.

It was Savannah Reed, my old college classmate!

Back then, she was the "it" girl, the one every guy on campus obsessed over.

She was the pure, untouchable queen of the university.

I was one of her many pathetic pursuers back then.

I spent months bringing her coffee, paying for her meals, and even doing her assignments.

Savannah accepted everything I gave her, but she looked down on me from the bottom of her soul.

When I finally confessed my feelings, she crushed my dignity into the dirt.

In front of all my friends, she sneered at me from her high horse.

"Derek Miller, you were born to be a pathetic loser. You're a bottom-feeder dreaming of a goddess. Keep dreaming!"

For two years, I was the laughingstock of the campus.

Later, I heard she married some billionaire right after graduation, and I stopped following her news.

Savannah recognized me too.

She looked embarrassed, her hands fidgeting with the edge of her apron.

She was clearly trying to hide her current state of desperation from me.

"Derek... it's been a long time," she whispered.

I let out a cold laugh.

Recalling how she humiliated me, I felt a twisted sense of satisfaction seeing her like this.

"Doesn't it? I heard you married a billionaire. What happened? Did he get bored of you and kick you to the curb to sell noodles?"

I hit the nail on the head.

Savannah gave a strained, awkward smile.

"Let's not talk about the past. Let me make you that bowl of ramen."

Finally, the tables had turned.

I felt a surge of power over her for the first time in my life.

I looked around the shop; it was small, almost cramped.

Suddenly, I noticed a bright red sign near the register.

"Membership: $4,000 for a one-night 'Boss' experience. Permanent Membership: The Owner is at your beck and call."

My heart skipped a beat.

Savannah was actually selling herself like this now?

Looking at that sign, the resentment I had carried for years bubbled up.

Insulting her with words wasn't enough to make up for the years I spent as a joke because of her.

I walked into the kitchen and stood right behind her while she prepped the spices.

"Are you that desperate for cash?" I asked.

Her hands shook slightly, and her smile was brittle.

"I owe some people money. I need to pay it back fast."

Watching her work, a dark fire ignited in my chest.

The woman who wouldn't let me touch her finger back then was now making me dinner.

If I could make her feel the same humiliation I felt, it would be the perfect revenge.

My body moved faster than my mind.

I grabbed her waist and slid my hand down, squeezing her firm, rounded hips hard.

Savannah bit her lip, her expression looking like she was about to cry, but she didn't fight back.

"Derek, I'm sorry for what happened back then. For the sake of our old friendship, please don't..."

"Shut up!" I snapped.

Hearing her mention the past only made me angrier.

She looked helpless, pouting in a way that made my blood boil with excitement.

I reached inside her apron, claiming her softness as my own.
