In our seventh year of marriage, my wife Janelle's first love sent me a link to download an app.

It was filled with her private, intimate videos, made for his eyes only.

When I confronted Janelle, she snapped impatiently, "I never actually slept with him. Besides, this is the ninety-ninth task on his list. Just one more, and I will have repaid my debt to him."

Miles sent this text along with a link.

Even through the screen, I could feel his sickening smugness.

After hesitating for a long time, I clicked the link and installed it.

The app was named "Miles's Comfort Haven."

The next second, the blood in my veins ran ice-cold.

Inside were dozens of Janelle's private videos.

She posed in sheer lingerie, bathed in steaming tubs, and even posed provocatively inside a public restroom stall.

"Miles, I love you so much," she whispered in one clip.

"Do you think I'm beautiful, Miles?"

Her voice felt like thorny vines wrapping tightly around my heart, suffocating me.

Under each video was a caption: "For Miles's eyes only."

My phone slipped from my hand, hitting the floor with a loud crack.

Janelle was my wife, and we had been married for seven years.

I never imagined she could do something so vile behind my back.

She had promised she would love only me for the rest of her life.

With trembling fingers, I dialed her number.

Loud music and rowdy laughter blasted from the other end.

"Come on, Janelle! Miles is your unforgettable first love," someone cheered in the background. "Kiss him already!"

My voice shook with pure fury.

She did not answer and hung up on me.
