Caleb kicked me out of the house.

I didn't regret it for a single second.

The only shame was that he hadn't signed the divorce papers yet.

Ten years of being abandoned and disappointed had drained the meaning of love out of me.

All that remained in my heart was a deep, burning resentment for Caleb and Melody.

I had wasted a decade of my youth just trying to get Caleb to look at me twice.

I hinted that my husband was the CEO of a major public company, a man named Harrison.

I identified his mistress as the rising star in the entertainment industry, Melody B.

I even uploaded the photos Melody had sent me over the years to brag about their intimacy.

Even with their faces blurred, the internet sleuths identified them almost instantly.

The comment section exploded with people taking my side.

"I can't believe the CEO of Harrison Group is such a scumbag. Rich guys really do play around."

"You're right. These corporate marriages are usually just business, but the CEO cheating is still trashy. I feel bad for the wife."

Of course, Melody's obsessed fans found my post and started attacking me.

"Our Melody is young and beautiful! She's way better than some old woman. If you can't keep your man, don't blame her!"

"Melody and Caleb were childhood sweethearts. They were meant to be. You're the one who got in the middle of them!"

I didn't argue back. Instead, I continued playing the victim, posting a tearful response.

"I know all of this… In the end, I was just lying to myself for years. I deserve this for being so foolish."

My act worked perfectly. The angry public began to clash with Melody's fan club.

Just as I planned, the news of Caleb Harrison's infidelity hit the top of the trending charts.

Right behind it was the tag #MelodyBanksHomewrecker.

A dark smile touched my lips. I knew Caleb had recently been wining and dining a famous director to get Melody a lead role.

He wanted to turn her into an A-list star.

Well, our little star was certainly getting a lot of traffic now. I hoped she enjoyed my gift.
