Chapter 2 Who is he

I immediately winced when I felt the strange pain on my bottom. Holy frigging cocktails!

I quickly turned over to lie down, I scratched my forehead while trying to remember what happened last night.

I made love with a stranger?

This is not my room and this is also not a dream! I'm in someone's house. I'm in someone's room!

I looked around the room. This is too big for a single person. It has a queen sized bed and glasses outside are big too.

Maybe if I decided to ride a bicycle and play on this room, I can do it!

Next, I looked at my clothes. How come I didn't notice that this is not my dress anymore. I'm only wearing an oversized white shirt and no underwear.

I tried to stand up but immediately hold the mattress when I felt that sting of pain again.

Fudge, that really hurts!

I immediately sat on the bed when the door opened. A boy showed up.

He has long hair already tied and braided, he is smiling at me. I also smiled sparingly at him, no I don't know if that was a grimace or what.

I don't want to throw my bitchy attitude at him. This one is still young.

"Hello." He said in some good accent.

I nodded, "H-Hi."

"This is the first time daddy brought a girl here." He smiled, puting two hands behind.

My eyes widened. "D-Daddy?"

The boy nodded at me, before I could talk the door opened again.

A man was spat on. He's wearing a business suit. The man is fixing his tie while looking at me.

This is the crush of Xerxes, the David Beckham look a like! And why does he looks much hotter now?

"Liberan, would you excuse us for a moment?" The man said in a low voice baritone.

"Oh okay, dad!" The boy hurried.

Ah, so the boy's name is Liberan? How cool. However, I still can't believe it, I lost my virginity to a married man! And he has a child!

I bit my fingers because of tension. So what's going to happen now?

The man closed the door and looked at me, He's fixing his cuffs without leaving my eyes. He leaned on the cabinet close to him.

"How are you feeling?" He asked me.

"I didn't know you were married." That, I said immediately.

I saw him raise an eyebrow, he rested both hands on the glasses of his cabinet.

"I have a wife?" He playfully asked.

I want to cover his face! How can this married man be so handsome?! And if he is already married then how old is he?

"You have a son, stop playing at me!" I exclaimed, "And please don't make this an issue! I can say you put a drug on what I drank so something happened to us!"

I saw a small grin on his lips. "Okay, I'm scared."

And he still has the urge to play around?Is he not afraid of those threat?

"I'm leaving, mister." I creased my forehead. I stood up and went to the door when he suddenly speak.

"You're going to leave wearing that?" I closed my eyes while tightly holding the doorknob. What Adira?

You can't turn your back on this man! If you do that, you lose.

But what should I do? Well, I could easily book a taxi right now. Nope! Dad and Mom will know. but where will I give a call?

I left my purse on the table Xerxes and I sat last night.

In the end my pride got the better of me, I didn't pay attention to what the man said then immediately went out of the room.

"Oh my gosh!" A girl in black dress caught my eye. Looks like she just went upstairs and was surprised to what she had seen. "Who are you!?"

My lips parted but only for a moment then I raised an eyebrow at her. "I am Adira Celestine Gotesco, excuse me."

I walked straight to the woman, but before I could step down the stairs she immediately grabbed my wrist.

"Who are you? Why are you in that room?!"

I was about to answer that one when the man spoke.

"Let her go Coleen." Said the man and look at he girl.

Wait. what if.. this is his wife? Sht! I',m doomed! Don't say that I will also see a couple fight? Then this woman will pull my hair and their son will witness everything. After that, they will go on divorce because of me!

I'm the reasom for all of that!

Then I will be the headline in the news! Adira Celestine Gotesco the family wrecker.

"Brother? What is this? Your girl? Why you brought a girl home?!" She looked at me from head to toe. "And why does she look like this?"

I frowned at what the woman said and shook my hand away from her grip. She looked at me again with the equal madness earlier.

This man is his brother? If so, where is his wife?

"Lazarus!" Coleen girl screamed.

"She fainted, Coleen." Rightly said man.

The woman named Coleen stomped her foot and she walks out. She seems fed up on her brother's explanation.

He just looked at her as she left while I was itching to leave in the mansion!

"I-I'm leaving.." I told him and walked down the stairs, I haven't yet reached the last step when he spoke again.

"Stay there. I called a taxi for you. Right next to the couch, there is bag. that's your dress."

I ignored him and went dow still. I even caught up with the child he was eating a sandwich and smiled at me

I saw and casually picked up the bag Lazarus says.

The man in a black uniform opens the door for me. He looks very professional. What do you call that job anyway?

Outside, I can see what Lazarus is saying. I went to the taxi right away.

I told the driver where he is going to drop me. Nope, I am not going to go home at this state. I will go straight to my condo because I know my family will say more about my disappareance last night.

I frowned but slowly also nodded and watched the car leaving. Fortalejo? His name is Lazarus Fortalejo? Why does that last name sound familiar to me?

"Shut up Xerxes Medina huh? It's your fault!" I threw the bag and sat on the couch.

My friend laughed, she turned on the TV and turned to face me. "What? I just told you to ask for his name. You were the one who decidee to do it with him."

"That man has a son! He's married, Xerxes!" I shouted and just leaned back on the couch.

Xerxes' eyes widened and I went to the side. "Really? God. Maybe it will be... an issue?"

I bit my lowerlip, that's what I was thinking earlier.

"What's his name? I hope you know right?"

I thought about his name again. The woman said it was Lazarus, well, that's the name he said to me last night I just shook my head when I remember what happened last night.

Then the driver said...

"He's Lazarus Fortalejo." I told to Xerxes.

She took out her phone and probably check for the man.

"That man is probably in his early 30s. He doesn't look old." I concluded.

After a while I heard a heavy breathingif Xerxes, I turned to her.

She was looking at the screen of her phone and looks shocked.

"H-He's not in his early 30s, Adira." Xerxes looked at me.

"What? Mid 30s?" Because he does not look old.

Xerxes confided her phone and my eyes widened to what I saw

He is fking 45 years old?!
