When the phone alarm chimed again, I deleted every single reminder without hesitation, wiping away every trace of the wedding from my device.

Right after booking my one-way ticket for the morning of the wedding, my phone rang with an incoming call from Heath's buddy, Nolan.

"Hey, Cassie, Heath is completely smashed. Can you come pick him up?"

The background was deafeningly noisy, but I caught Heath's slurred protest over the line.

"No… don't call her. I want Sienna…"

The rest of his words were cut off abruptly, like someone had clamped a hand over the receiver, and the line went dead silent.

Nolan stammered a couple of awkward lines before hurriedly hanging up, but I decided to go see the circus for myself.

I walked over to the closet and saw shelves packed with designer handbags, every single one of them emerald green.

Heath had a terrible temper, and we argued constantly. After every fight, he would buy me a green handbag.

He used to joke that green meant a fresh start and forgiveness.

Only now did I realize there were already over a hundred green bags lining the shelves, mockingly signaling how blind and cuckolded I had been.

I grabbed a random jacket and headed out the door.

My own sedan was in the shop for maintenance, so I had to take Heath's car from the garage.

The moment I sat in the driver's seat, I noticed the interior had been completely redecorated. Sienna's selfies were pasted over the dashboard.

Right in the center console sat a framed photo of Heath and Sienna smiling together, while the backseat was piled high with baby supplies.

Swallowing down the burning rage in my chest, I drove toward the downtown lounge.

After parking, I dragged my feet, wishing every step could take an eternity.

As I approached the private lounge booth, bursts of laughter echoed through the hall.

I heard Heath's familiar voice, mingled with Sienna's soft giggles.

"Sienna, marry me, please… You know you're the only one I've ever loved!"

Around them, Heath's friends cheered and egged him on.

"Say yes, Sienna! Just marry the guy already!"

"You two already have a baby together! Heath never loved that Nia girl anyway, his heart has always been yours!"

"Exactly, Sienna! Don't tell me you don't have feelings for our boy after all these years. You only rushed back because you heard he was marrying someone else, right?"

I had no patience for their pathetic drama. With a trembling hand, I shoved the heavy door open and walked in.

The moment they saw me, the room fell dead silent, everyone freezing in utter mortification.

My icy gaze swept across the room, finally locking onto the two figures huddled in the corner shadows.

Heath was clutching Sienna's hand tightly, staring at her with an intensity dripping with pure devotion.

None of them expected me to show up so quickly, sending the entire room into a flustered scramble.

Some rushed to offer me fruit platters, others poured me water, while Nolan hurried over to pull Heath off the couch.

"Heath, snap out of it! Your fiancée is here."

Hearing that, Heath blinked his hazy, bloodshot eyes at me, then slowly turned back around, burying his face into Sienna's chest.

"Sienna, you finally agreed… my sweet fiancée…"

"Sienna, do you have any idea how much I missed you all these years?"

"Sienna, please don't leave me again, okay…?"

No matter how hard Nolan yanked at him, Heath clung desperately to Sienna, refusing to budge.

I had known Heath for ten years and dated him for seven, yet I had never once seen him drunk like this.

Nolan shot me an embarrassed look, then grabbed Heath by the collar in frustration, shouting, "Heath! Open your damn eyes! Nia is here!"

Several guys rushed over to help pry Heath out of Sienna's embrace.
