I used to be angry. During the first wedding, I screamed at them in a total breakdown.

She was the woman who promised to marry me. This was the wedding I spent months planning.

I couldn't let Levi Young destroy it.

My eyes were red as I tried to charge at him.

But all the relatives held me back. Levi retreated to Jade's side.

"See? He turns into a monster the moment something happens," Levi said.

"He's got a temper. He'll probably lay a hand on you once you're married!"

"You should thank me for testing him. I saved you from a lifetime of misery!"

Suddenly, everyone pointed their fingers at me. I went from the groom to the villain.

The relatives took turns brainwashing me. They said I was wrong to be so upset over a "test."

In the end, I had to hand out massive cash bonuses to her family before Jade agreed to come back.

I also tried begging. During the second wedding, I didn't get angry.

I knelt on the floor and grabbed her dress. I begged her not to leave me.

I told her I loved her. I listed every single thing I had ever done for her.

Levi pointed at me and sneered. "Gross. You're just trying to manipulate her."

"You're a weak man who only knows how to cry when things go south!"

"Besides being 'nice' to Jade, what do you even have? She'll always be miserable with you!"

Once again, I was the one everyone blamed.

I was an orphan. I had no family, no relatives, and no friends at that wedding.

They surrounded me, hurling insults and blame. Jade just leaned into Levi's arms, smiling.

Anger didn't work. Begging didn't work. Since everything I did was wrong, I decided to do nothing.
