Chapter 3-The search continues

While I got my whole body covered up with a blanket, Lorie turned the lights off. In silence, she started a conversation in between us. "Have you seen Andrew?" I didn't want to answer her because it felt so weird for me to talk about him. To be honest, in 6 years since Andrew never showed up, this is the first time we talked about him and his brother carl.

"No!" I finally said after a minute of silence in between us. I turned my back at her and closed my eyes to try to sleep. "I see" she said while yawning and turned her back at me. I wasn't sleepy at all. Oh yes! Now I know why. I took a sip of coffee instead of milk right before going to bed. Now I regret it!!!!!!

She was so sleepy so I tried to play dumb to try to make her answer my question. "How can you be so sure that it was carl?" She yawned again. She roamed for a bit and said "I don't know" I knew that she wasn't really sleepy when she got up and sat on her bed. I did the same thing so I could talk to her in a pleasant way.

"You don't know?!?!?!?" I demanded.

She grabbed her desktop and opened it. She showed me a picture of an unfamiliar guy with hundreds of words beside his profile. "Here" she said.

"I don't think that's carl" I tried to complain.

"How can you say that?" She asked

I came up with an answer that turned to a question. " how can you say that this is Carl?" Yet, she stopped and didn't said anything until I continued.

"Look, he is black haired while carl is blonde like Andrew. He has green eyes while carl has blue eyes same as Andrew and when Andrew introduced carl to us, he was 16 so he's 2 years older than you so if you're 24 then he is probably 26 now. The guy in here is black haired, green eyed, and he is 24." I complained at her and she just stared at me and nodded her head.

She got back lying to her bed and I did the same thing.

The next morning, I just sat on my bed while waiting for Lorie to come out from the bathroom in our bedroom. While I was sitting, I heard Lorie scream "aaaaagggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!" And it led me to confusion. I didn't minded it all for a while just because I thought she just saw something weird in the bathroom. But it took her 3 hours! And that never happened before.

I knocked at the door but all that I hear is the sound of the water coming out from the shower. "Hey girl what is taking you so long?!?!?!?" I screamed out loud so she will hear it even though the sound of the water was extremely loud.

She didn't answered so I tried to open the door with the thought of her, trying to prank me. The door was locked but I secretly kept a duplicate key of it on the second layer of my desk.

I tried to open it until I was able to open it. When it was finally open, I saw my sister laying on the floor with a soap at the bottom of his feet. But this is definitely not the first time that this stupid thing happened to her. This always happens.

I called mom and dad for rescue like what I always do and they called the doctor to give her head a relief. Maybe soon she will explode because this happens to her every year. I think this happens 2-4 times a year. So maybe next year, her head will explode.

I realized that it was a perfect time to continue on searching for Andrew because Lorie will not be able to look at it because she will just sleep for the rest of the day like what the doctor said.

I kept and kept and kept and kept on looking for Andrew on the search app but nothing really matched my expectations and no one was not in the way as how I wanted them to be. I turned off my desktop due to frustration and disappointment. I lied down on my bed and kept thinking of a way on how I could look for him. But no idea showed up on my mind. There was no answer to my question.

When Lorie finally woke up after sleeping for 3 hours, she looked at me and said "hey!" I don't know why she can still afford to smile and be okay after what happened to her. I said "I think next time your head will explode. For the last time, girl! Don't step on the soap!!!!!" I rolled my eyes as she made a "peace" hand sign that made me felt okay.

When I woke up in the other day, I saw Lorie standing beside my bed with a bandage on her head like a sleeping scientist that watches me sleep until I wake up. "What are you doing there?" I asked her.

"No, it's actually nothing. I just want to ask you about my pen, where is it?" Here's my sister again looking for the stupid pen that always seemed to be more important than me. She always worried for it but haven't used it even once in her life! I don't know why but since she was like 14, she already had that. She is 2 years older than me so I was probably 12 when she had that pen.

"No I haven't seen it for years" I said and got back to my bed to sleep again due to tiredness.

I tried out so many outfits for today but why does nothing fits me? I tried a hoodie, an over sized shirt, a dress, a crop top, I even tried out a gown!

But now I have the perfect outfit to go to the market. I started the car to go to the Kawai store as early as I can. When I arrived in there, there was just a limited amount of people. Something like 3-6 people. Maybe because it is Wednesday morning and everyone is busy with their works and blah blah blah.

I don't know why but today, I was really in the mood for shopping for some stationary.

I grabbed some pencils, notebooks, sketchpads, and more cute Kawai stationary that are so cute!!!! I think I was 8 years old when I fell in love with stationary,

When I was in the cashier to pay for my orders, I looked for my wallet in my pocket. But there was definitely nothing inside my pocket. I tried to look for it at my left pocket but it was also empty. It took me a minute to finally realize that I left my wallet in my room after trying out some outfits.

"Umm.... ma'am, I left my wallet in our house." The cashier girl with a red hair kept on doing the annoying bubble gum blowing thing and she said "hey girl! You're too young to be a thief! Hands over the money now!" As I took a step back, I felt that I stepped on top of the cart until I fell down.

I stood up on my own and tried my best to avoid being embarrassed. "Umm... ma'am I really left my wallet at our house please believe me I am a regular costumer here! I am not a thief!!!" While I was complaining she just stared into my eyes like she was saying that I must shut up. But I can't.

"Girl! Will you pay or I will take you to the police station or will you put those things back in where you grabbed them?" I had no choice but to go to the police station just to prove myself! I don't want to put these things back to the shelves!

But a guy that is a little taller than me came and took a dollar bill from his wallet and said "here" he gave the dollar bill to the cashier girl and I felt so shameless and lovely at the same time.

He gave his hands to me and introduced his self "Markus" I looked into his deep green eyes and I introduced my self too. "Andrea" his hands was colder than an ice cube. Maybe it is because of the air conditioner inside the store and the cold weather outside. I wasn't really sure if his eyes are green or blue, the color of it reflects from the sunlight like refraction.

While I was 4 steps away from my car, I looked back at him and saw him standing in front of the store. He waved his right hand to me and I did the same thing.

When I got home, I tried to avoid any noises inside our house so my dad won't see. He will just say "Andrea! What's that?" And blah blah blah blah blah blah bahl. His mind is as crazy as the spelling of the last blah.

I lied down on my bed and just closed my eyes to imagine how lucky I am today! Can you imagine such a coincidence like this? It's just really so amazing. No not that guy. I mean how we met at the perfect time. But maybe soon I need to check my wallet first so I won't be blamed as a thief.

It took me 4 minutes to realize that Lorie wasn't in our room. "Dad, where's Lorie?" I screamed so dad would here it to his office, and he replied, "I don't know Andrea, she just told me that she will be with her friends, I don't know where did she go" he said he don't but he does.

When Lorie arrived just a few minutes after I did, she lied down beside me. That made me realize that I wasn't laying on my own bed.

"So girl! How was your day?" She asked me with a tired voice.

"My day made me so hungry right now!" She laughed at me and replied

"You should have brought foods rather than stationary"

Oh boy! They don't understand.....
