Just as I was about to start the next day's "feeding," the doorbell rang.

It was my cousin, Sierra, someone I hadn't talked to in ages.

"Sutton! I saw everything online! Don't let those people get to you. They're total scum!"

As she spoke, she casually glanced around the room, noticed Landon was missing, and perked up.

"Wait, where's Landon? With everything going on, how could he leave you here alone?"

"He's busy," I said flatly.

A flash of smugness crossed Sierra's eyes before she masked it with a look of fake pity.

She saw my phone screen lit up with the list of "wishes" from the haters.

"Sutton... are you really still ordering food for them?"

"You're too kind! If it were me, I'd wish they all got hit by a bus!"

Despite her harsh words, she sneakily reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone.

Using the corner of her eye to align the shot, she snapped a quick photo of my order screen.

I pretended not to notice and kept placing orders on the app.

"Sutton, this isn't right. You're just rewarding them for being evil."

"Are you... trying to touch their hearts? Hoping they'll feel guilty and find their conscience?"

I didn't say a word. I just looked at her and gave her a deep, meaningful smile.

"Sutton... why are you smiling like that?"

I leaned into her ear and whispered in a voice only we could hear.

"You guessed right."

"I just want them..."

"...to eat well and drink well."

She jumped back a step.

"Sutton, I... I just remembered I have something to do. I have to go!"

A few minutes later, a new post was pushed to the top of the trends by a wave of bots.

The poster claimed to be my "distant relative" and expressed "heartbreak and helplessness" over my "saintly" behavior.

Then, they "accidentally" revealed that I was doing this to build a "forgiving and graceful" persona. It was all a scheme to gain public sympathy for a future comeback as a live-streamer.

Attached to the post was the photo Sierra had just snuck―the screenshot of the orders on my phone.

The comment section exploded again.
