“Ma’am I wish you would talk to the boss before you go inside”, My bodyguard kept on telling me to call my father and explain the situation but I'm even more grumpy than him. I don’t want to do what he wants to but I want to do things on my own even if it is when I will be revolting against him. “No need”, I said and walked inside. I myself tremble even though I want to act tough. It is not like everyone knows about my condition but I'm still working fine with my condition. I took a deep breath and pushed the entrance. I can see my father roaming in the living room while my twin sister is sitting on the couch while lowering her eyes as if she is taunting me. Even though she is not smiling still it is so freaking suffocating. “NOW YOU GET THE TIME TO COME?” His voice was so cold as well terrifying. I didn’t reply. “Eliana!!! I'm asking you something”, he raised his voice. “If you want to ask something, why don’t you manage your way of asking first. Because you are too aware I'm not going to answer if you ask like this”, I tried to walk toward the stairs but he stopped me. “Eliana!!!” “Is this the way you treat your father?” he said. My mouth corners went up. “So, is this the way you treat your daughter?” I glared the way he did to me. Of course, we share the same blood so we sure will behave the same as well but I can’t say how my twin sister behaves so calmly and snatched everything from me. “Eliana!!” Again! I'm not sure just how many times he called my name but it is getting suffocating now. “Where were you?” he asked. “Am I bound to answer you?” I asked. “Yeah, you are.” “If you want to leave here then do as I say. Or just get out of my house.” I clenched my fist. Of course, I can’t leave my house. “I was in a club”, I answered looking away. “Eli, you are still not an adult”, My sister Veronica said. “So what? Aren't I already an adult as per my id card?” I answered. “Eliana you just crossed your entire limit. You are revolting against me every time. Don’t you know I don’t like all this then why the heck do you test my patience each time. What is the issue you are having? You can tell me and I can understand as well. Just tell me!!!!” he acted like my father but he is forgetting just how bad he treated me. “So where were you when you declared that if we want to be heir then you should get married and introduce the person to me? Did I say that? Did I create the rule? No right?” I raised my brows. “Because it is how things have been for years.” “I too get married to your mother when I was twenty.” I can’t believe what he is saying. “Why don’t you just say you don’t want me as heir?” I said looking at Veronica. “Eli, what are you trying to say?” my sister spoke. “Veronica, you know what I'm saying so don’t act.” “I know you already have a fiancée. I already know that he was your boyfriend in school and later you introduced him to dad then he decided to make him your fiancée. So, what are you saying as if you don’t understand? Now don’t say that dad doesn't know you as well?” I said, crossing my arms. “So, dad you are going to ignore this as well when you decided that your heir would be someone who has a husband? Don’t you favor her the most?” I spoke. “Eli, it is not like that”, She said. “Yes, Eliana it is not like that”, dad said after her but no one understands what I feel but I'm still not in any position when I'm ready to lose all my power just like this. I'm not going to let her take everything. I'm not going to just sit and watch her having it all. No, it can’t be. It can’t be at least not in life time. I walked toward my room. Their eyes were still following me but I ignored them and entered my room. As I entered my room, I started throwing everything in anger. I can even see her picture, which she took with me when I was only ten years old, on my table. “I hate this picture.” “I hate this frame.” “I hate her being with me.” “I hate everything.” I threw the picture on the ground while the glasses fell here and there. I wish if we were identical then I hope father would have favored me like her. But it is all my dream. Should I just try to seduce her boyfriend? This is not difficult but I don’t want to look like a vixen when I'm aware how my father will react. Then I will not even get my side of the property but will get everything out of my hand. I thud on my bed. I closed my eyes but all I could see was the person’s face no matter how I tried to forget. I hurried and got up. “Yeah, that guy!” “He can be a perfect person for my work.” “Yeah, I have to meet the guy and finalize.” I again got up from my bed and ran outside when Father and Veronica were still present in the living room. “Where are you going now?” Father asked. “To find a groom for myself”, as I said I saw Veronica looking furious. She started biting her fingers in frustration which I only know. “Be prepared to make me heir, father”, I said. “Eliana!!!! Get back right here!!!” he kept on shouting but I didn’t listen. “Eliana” “Eliana” He continued yelling but I didn’t back off. I don’t care even if he sends people to tail me but now the property and heir will belong to me and only me.
