Chapter 2 Yesterday

"laura congratulations!" My major subject professor was still smiling when he approached me. why is there anything? I asked him. I was still nervous because he suddenly called me in the middle of his class. he gently patted my shoulder. "You are the summa cumlaude for our course." My eyes widened with joy. Is what you said true?" he nodded. "Congratulations! I'm sure your parents will be happy with you." I jumped and screamed for joy. I didn't expect to be together because one of my classmates and I have the same grades. "Thank you! Thank you!" I hugged my professor with great joy "You have nothing to thank me for because you are the one who worked hard to achieve whatever you have now." I nodded and thanked him again and again. My friends in class were also happy I feel like I want to drag out time because I want to go home. Mommy is still coming from vacation. I wanted them to be happy with me, so when it was time to go home, I drove the car to get home right away. When I entered our big land, I immediately looked for Daddy "Laura" Daddy called me. According to the news, Mommy's car exploded and she was burned along with the car. We saw only his charred body. I feel double pain because I can't even let him feel my love for him. It's like I'm walking in the clouds as I approach Mommy's hill. Cremated Daddy and I have him now so that we can be with him in his last moments. "M-Mommy.." When I finished crying on his shoulder I was forced to fix myself. Showered and left the room and now Ferdinand is trying to eat me. I haven't eaten for two days. I hope you're okay, Daddy. I tried to wait for Daddy to come, but because of my staying up the past few nights, I fell asleep right away. The next day, Ferdinand picked me up early so we could go to school. "Are you thinking about your Mommy again?" asked Ferdinand. I was riding in his car and he was driving. I looked at him. "Why are you sad?" "I'm worried about Daddy." "Why?" "I don't know if he's okay now. Yesterday I was going to go to his room to ask how he was, but he left. I didn't wait for him because I fell asleep. I was going to go to see him earlier but our assistant said he's going home just Daddy. "Leave your Daddy alone, I'm sure he's fine." I closed my eyes while leaning my back against the dashboard of the car. Ferdinand is still my driver.
