Chapter 2 Elsa

CHAPTER TWO

********* *** THREE YEARS LATER*** Elsa's pov

I kept my head up as I walked to my parked vehicle in the parking lot.

My security personnel were working to keep the many people who wanted to touch me away and it was hard work.

"Elsa! Elsa!" My name keeps flying around in different directions as the paparazzi keep taking photos of me.

“Elsa, why do you come back? Is it for the 'Techcode' Merger and Acquisition deal ?”

“I heard that you have been wired to the most prestigious politicians, is this true?”

“Just one question Elsa, Someone reveals that you are married and have a child?”..........

My heart stopped for a second when I heard the child..... Then I turned around and said, “ I don’t have a child, just a rumor.” I answered the only question and then left. “But I have two.” I swallowed the words.

The hungry journalists kept begging me to answer their many ridiculous questions, but I kept my head up and continued to ignore them. My chief bodyguard opened the car for me and I entered and sighed at the sign of some peace and calmness. "The airport, Timmy. " I instructed the driver. " I have a flight to catch in ten minutes so floor it. '' Yes, ma'am. " Timmy replies with a bow and he drives away as quickly as he can.

The car zoomed past the crowd of gossip-hungry journalists and I watched through the tinted glass as I left them behind. Beside me is Orlando. My thirty-six-year-old lawyer seems to be older than his age. He has aged too quickly because he has been working hard to bail his clients from laws and he is incredibly good at his job.

My company and his law firm have maintained a long-standing relationship. He has been very helpful to me over these three years. Whether it was completing a merger or acquisition of a company, completing the transformation of a company, or legal advice on financing. He has been my right-hand man. Including, of course, the top priority of my return this time, fighting for the custody of my children. This is a battle that must be won. He didn't say anything to me because I didn't say anything to him. His legs crossed as he looked ahead of him. The drive had gone for some time before I turned to him. He looked at him as if that was the first time that I was noticing him, but that's not possible because they have been in the car together from the start of the drive. "So, Orlando. " I smiled at him. " How do you feel about this trip?"

"It's going to be a good one. " He smiles back at me" I am very sure that we will be able to win your kids. "

I laughed. Of course, I was not going to leave unless my kids were coming with me.

Did you do as I said though?" I asked him.

" I told you to keep it from him till the last minute. I couldn't help but want to see him in a state of defeat."

"Yes. " Orlando answers. " I just sent him the email some eight minutes ago, just before you got into the car. "

Orlando looks at his wristwatch to confirm the accuracy of his claim. He nods, it's indeed accurate.

"Good. " A sinister smile creeps the corner of my face.

I feel very happy right now. I imagined the look of confusion on the face of my ex-husband when he got the email from my lawyer. Ricardo won't see this one coming. I was going to show him I wasn't the naive, gullible young lady he married years ago. I am now an independent, strong, and motivated young lady. I wouldn't take his shits anymore. I thought of my kids and how happy I'd be with the reunion.
