Chapter 3 Just a one night stand

On seeing maroon's house, I knew he wasn't just an ordinary man. His aura as well as he's body language seems dangerous from a distance but when you get close enough you'll see that he was just a soft acted man at least towards me that is. It not like I know him, I mean I just met the guy twice. He placed his hands on my left thigh and moved it up and down making sure to keep the fire in my core burning. He drove into the house and alighted from the car signalling the body guards and maids that stood by the door to disappear. "I don't want to see a single soul in the house, whatever you do I must not make eye contact with you or else your fired!" His voice roared as soon as he opened the door for me to get down from the SUV. I twisted and turned on my bed feeling restless until I got a reminder notification about my meeting and photo shoot for tomorrow. I was meant to be meeting with a photographer from vouge magazine to take pictures that would be used in its covers for the month because they said something about this month being royalty month and I would make a very good example so I agreed with them.

I couldn't stop myself from thinking about maroon and our encounter this morning, I might have sounded harsh and distance but in my defence I didn't really know the guy and I also didn't want anything with him other than one night thing. "Am going home thanks for last night" I said after getting my head together ready to stand up "You don't want to stay for breakfast and maybe a shower?" He said frowning a bit "Oh no I don't want that" I said standing up not bothering about my naked state as I padded around the Massive room looking for my clothes. Maroon kept looking at me contemplating whether to say what was in his mind or not as I dressed getting ready to leave. "How would you get back home?" He asked me standing up to hold me as I walked closer to the door trying to open it. I didn't dare look down to his lower waist because he was naked but he didn't mind that, looking into his eyes it was evident that he truly wanted me to stay but I didn't want this to escalate into something else so I declined. "No I'll call my personal driver there's no need to fret, this was just a one time thing right?" I said not bothering to stay and hear his reply I walked out into the house as I took out my phone from my purse calling Alfred to pick me up. Maroon's house was closer to the club so I walked down to the club telling Alfred to come meet me there. "Hello miss, good morning" he said as I entered the car "Morning" I said not knowing what to think at that moment. "Wow, someone's in a gloomy mood this early morning and also you smell like sex" he teased as I rolled my eyes and sighed "Take me home Al" I said putting my hands on my face

END OF FLASHBACK Maybe I was too harsh on maroon? No I wasn't, right?. It was the first time I had had sex with a stranger and actually felt something, dare I say it? REAL I actually felt something REAL and it scared me. I didn't know what to say so I did the only thing that made sense at that moment; leave.

I was called downstairs to eat with my mother and father so I need to decide what to wear. As I walked into my closet scanning through the dress to wear as my eyes spotted one making me smile. It was a black armless gown that had lots and lots of layers of fabric, it wasn't heavy but it had to be held when walking, Just then I heard a knock on my closet door. "Yes Alissa" I said stopping in my tracks to hear the news she had for me. I knew it was alissa because no other maid had the right to come into my room because alissa was my personal maid. "Yes miss, the king and queen said you should hurry up unless the food might get cold" she said chuckling a bit "Tell me this, have they eaten today?" I asked shaking my head. Knowing my parents I knew they haven't eaten today because I hadn't come back home, I wonder how they'll cope when I finally decided to marry and leave their home. Am 25 but they still behave and treat me like am a teenage. "Okay tell them I'll be down in 5" I said before taking the dress down from where it hung. I got dressed excatly fast and went downstairs, I decided not to wear anything on my feet because the armless dress I wore was long enough for me to even hold and it won't still show my feet. I didn't apply any makeup because I didn't feel like it and I also let my hair down for today, as I came into view my parents saw me and smiled broadly which I returned slightly. "Come sit here child you're looking well..... natural today" my mom said ushering me to sit beside her. "How do you feel sugar plum?" My dad said "And fine dad and thanks mom let's eat" I said distracting them with the mention of food. Their faces lit up as they giggled Like 3 years older while clapping their hands together. The maids served us well and around, my parents went straight to eating their food without letting the maids finish serving and it made me chuckle. "I still don't know how you guys would cope without me when I finally get married and leave the mansion" I said chuckling "Well till then, I and your mother would have to decide if we want you to leave here with your husband or let you go" my dad said before wiping his hands with a table towel "You can't be serious father" I said laughing but he kept his serious and straight face indicating he was serious. I looked at my mom to see she had the same expression making me laugh harder because why not? My parents behaved like children. "Well like you said till then huh?, Let's eat" I said before deciding to start eating. "Mmmm, that reminds me mother, am going out tomorrow for my shoot do you want to tag along?, Maybe we would go get ice-cream or we'll go to the mall" I said sipping water before looking at her already excited face "Of course hunny you know I'd like that very much" she said smiling "Good, then it's settled Tomorrow it is" I said standing up to leave "Not hungry anymore?" My dad asked "Am not am quite okay already" I said sighing "But just finish your plate would you?, Just this once?" My mom said making me smile "Okay then" I said sitting back to finish up the remains on my plate making my parents smile broadly and I chuckled.
