Chapter 2

"James, look at the kids, they look like they're having so much fun," Ananya said as she sat next to James on the sand, watching their children energetically paddling in the waves. The smiles on Ananya's face cannot be hidden, especially when she sees their family happy.

James was also smiling as he looked at his wife. "You know, dear, this is how I like us to do most of the time. No work to think about, no meetings, no stress. Just us, with the kids, in a quiet and simple way of life."

"We think the same. It's very simple but very fun," Ananya answered as she reached out for James' hand. She felt the warmth of his palm, as if it always gave her security and love.

"But have you thought about what the next step is for us?" James asked, seeming to be deep in thought. "I mean, our café is successful, but I still want to make sure we have time for this. I don't want to sacrifice our time as a family."

Ananya thought. He knows the weight of James' responsibilities as a CEO, but he feels that despite everything, their family is more important to him. "James, we've been through so much, and I know the next steps won't be easy. But you know, it's more important to me that no matter how busy we are, we'll always be together. Let's not forget that."

James sighed and looked away, at the vast sea. "You're right. We need to make time for each other and the children a priority. They bring us a different kind of joy."

Ananya stared at her husband, and in his eyes, she saw the depth of love and concern. He thought about how much their lives had changed since they met. At first, James was an elegant, serious, and almost cold person, but now, he is a man who is willing to trade everything for his family. This kind of change strengthens their relationship.

As Ananya thinks about their plans, she hears the laughter of their children from the beach. He stood up and pulled James. "Come on, James. Let's go with them. We'd better play than think too deeply."

James stood up, taking off his top at the same time, challenging Ananya with a sweet smile. "Are you sure? Aren't you afraid of losing to me?"

Ananya laughed. "Hah! You can't beat me, mister!"

They immediately went to the children's side and engaged in a fun game of water and sand. They all laugh, regardless of the time. At these times, Ananya felt that her world was complete.

In the evening, after a long day of playing and laughing, the whole family returned to their cottage. The children had gone to bed, but Ananya and James stayed awake, talking over tea on the veranda.

"What are you thinking?" James asked as he looked out into the quiet night, the sea breeze gently caressing their faces.

"This. All of this," Ananya answered as she looked away. "James, with everything we've been through, sometimes I wonder how we got here. It seems like just yesterday, we were strangers to each other, and now, we have a family."

James watched his wife, seeming to think about every moment they shared their hearts with each other. "Yes, everything seems to be going very fast. But you know, the first time I saw you, I felt something strange. Maybe I just didn't admit it to myself right away."

"Maybe," Ananya laughed, tightening her grip on James' hand. "But it's important that we're here now, and we've proven a lot to each other."

James looked at Ananya, his eyes serious but full of love. "Honey, do you know what makes me happy right now? It's not just because of our business successes. It's not just because of the projects. More importantly, you're here. And I know that no matter what happens, you'll be there for me ."

Ananya approached her husband and hugged him. "And you're there for me too, James. I couldn't have done it without you."

They stared at each other, and their lips slowly came closer. That kiss was full of warmth and love—a kiss that reminded them how deep their relationship was, how deep their love was. Nothing else mattered to them at that moment but each other.

On nights like this, they know that no matter how busy they are, no matter how many responsibilities they have, their love will always lead them on the right path.

The next day, Ananya woke up early and looked at the sleeping children. He went out to the veranda and took a deep breath while watching the sunrise. James came to her side, quietly touching her shoulder.

"What are you planning today, love?" asked James.

Ananya looked at him, smiling. "Maybe, there will be more days like this. I want to make time for the children, for us. I want to make sure that our family does not lack time for love and fun."

James smiled and kissed her head. "You're right. We won't rush things. Just one step at a time. And I'll always be with you."

They reunited with their children, and in that quiet morning, they felt like they had found their rhythm again as parents and as a couple.

As they were on their way home from vacation, Ananya could feel the quiet contentment in their car. He was happy to see the happy faces of their children as they talked in the back, and James, who was driving quietly but with a noticeable smile on his lips. He feels that their family is complete and happy.

When they returned to Dubai, they knew the challenges of their business and daily life would return, but now, they are better prepared. They learn the value of stopping for a moment to rest and make time for the things that really matter. And every time they face new challenges, they are confident that there will always be time for them as a family.

When they got home, James helped Ananya out of the car. "Honey, thank you for all of this. Thank you for reminding me that sometimes, we have to stop and appreciate the things we already have."

Ananya smiled and kissed James on the cheek. "Nothing, dear. We make our own fun, and what's important, we make it together."

Upon reopening their café after the holidays, Ananya saw the familiar faces of their customers. But now that they have returned to the normal course of life, there is something new in his perspective. Each day seems like a new beginning, a new opportunity to strengthen and love.

While James was busy taking care of some aspect of the business, he often felt Ananya's gaze from the other end of the café. With simple glances and smiles, they know that no matter how busy their lives are, they always have time for each other.
