Chapter 2 Duties

Lucia smiled at him. "I might not be a qualifying nanny, but I believe that being kind and understanding is just as important when taking care of someone. And besides, I'm here to help you, not just boss you around." Lucia said,

George seemed to ponder this for a moment before nodding in acceptance. "Fair enough. But don't think you can get away with letting me off easy," Goerge said, and he frowned, Lucia laughed. "I wouldn't dream of it, George. Now, let's finish up your homework before your mom gets home." Lucia said.

Weeks later, Lucia and George developed a strong bond. They always spend hours talking about everything from school to their favorite movies, and Lucia found herself genuinely enjoying her time as George's nanny.

A few days later,, as they were watching a movie together, George turned to Lucia and said, "Thanks for being cool, Lucia. I know I can be sturbon sometimes, but you never make me feel like I'm a burden to you, I appreciate your patience,"

"You're not a burden, George. You're just a teenager trying to figure things out, and I'm here to help you along the way." Lucia said, and she smiles.

George agreed, "I'm lucky to have you as my nanny. You're like a cool friend," George said, and he smiles, and winkles his eyes, Lucia's heart was feeling the affection, but, she smiles slightly, and said, "And you're like a little brother to me. We make a great team, don't we?"

George stared at her, he was quiet for a while before broken silence, and he said, "Thanks for everything, Lucia, but, consider us to be friends," and he continue with his homework,

Two years later, George suddenly boycotted dinner, and he asked Lucia to arrange his dinner and bring it upstairs In his room, though, his mom was against his decision,

she stopped Lucia from taken dinner to his room, and she stood up and headed upstairs and walked Into his room, and she asked, “what hell Is wrong with, George, when did you start eating In your room,” she asked, “com'on, boy, let's go for dinner downstairs, and If you think, Lucia Is bringing your dinner, that's a big joke, boy,” Mrs. Wrangler scolded him and she left with annoyance,

George didn't say anything, and he refused to go downstairs to join his mom and other members of the household for dinner,

Just a few minutes later, George sent a text message to Lucia, “get me my dinner on time,” or do you want to lose your job,?”

“Just be patient, I will bring It In a short while,” Lucia sent him reply,

Meanwhile, Mrs. Wrangler was boiling on the chair still waiting, but. George was busy watching movies In his bedroom,

With annoyance, Mrs. Wrangler ordered everyone to eat, and she ate little because she was shattered and devastated because his son refused to follow her orders, a while later, she entered Into her bedroom.

Meanwhile, Lucia had been waiting for an opportunity to arrange George's dinner, and Immediately Mrs. Wrangler leave the dinning table, she hastily prepared the dinner and take It to George's bedroom, and she sat opposite direct to him until he finishes his dinner, and Lucia asked, “are you okay,?“

“Yeah, the food Is delicious,” George retorted, “Do you need more,?“ Lucia asked.

“No, no, I'm fine, I don't want to burst,” Goerge said, and he smiles,

“do you know something,?“ Lucia asked. “I want to know everything, tell me everything, Lucia,” George said,

“Your mom was not happy, she got annoyed because you refused to join her for dinner,” Lucia explained,

“I should have known that, but, she supposed not to get hurt because I boycotted dinner at the family table, I'm a big boy, I deserved privacy and freedom, I want to stop eating with them at the family table,” George said,

“But, before you make your decision, you should have let her know, you should have dialogues with her, not sudden decision, It's not fair, George, you hurt her so much,” Lucia said, “What should I do,?“ George asked,

“Go and apologize, I believe she will forgive you, let her know what you want, tell her your decisions and ideas, you can not just wake up one day, and make decisions, It's not nice,” Lucia advised,

“Thanks, Lucia, but, I will apologize to her tomorrow,” George said.

“Do things appropriately, do the right thing today, she will appreciates, and forgive you,” Lucia said, and she parked the plate, and headed to the kitchen, and later walked Into her room,

A few minutes later, George went to meet his mom In her bedroom, and he said, I'm sorry, mom, please forgive me,” George said,

“Why, why, George, why did you hurt me so much, I do everything to make you comfortable, I gathered all these wealth because of you, I respected you, I provide everything for your comfort, but, still, you never make me happy for once, you make decisions without notifying me,” she explained, what have I done to deserve disrespect from you,” Mrs. Wrangler asked furiously while tears streaming down from her eyes,

“Mom, I'm sorry, but. I won't be able to join you for dinner as from today, I need my space, but It doesn't mean that I disrespect you, It's just my choice,” George said,

“I agreed with you, but, I want you to honor me on family table every weekend,” Mrs. Wrangler said.

“Alright, mom,” he said, “have you forgiven me now,?“ he asked.

“You're my world, my jewel, my everything, I have forgiven you since,” Mrs. Wrangler said, and he smiles.

George returned to his bedroom, while Mrs. Wrangler was relieved, she was able to sleep,
