Chapter 2 02

Episode 2 . Linda's POV

"I want to wear my pink gown". Lizzy said sitting on the bed with her leg crossed. I stopped what I was doing to look at her, I could remember the last time she wore that gown got us into trouble. I turned back towards the wardrobe still searching for a suitable gown for her. I brought out my white sleeveless gown and gave it to her. She rolled her eyes as she took it . I stood watching her as she wore the gown.

"You're going on a date with a responsible person not...

"An inappropriate person" She completed. I smiled and grabbed my stuff into my bag .

"Please don't be rude" I begged.

"If he behaves well". She replied nonchalantly .

"Anyway , he's older now". I told her as I packed her hair into a bun. She applied a little powder and a light colored lipstick as she looks at me.

"You're beautiful". I comments.

"I am, always ". She said wearing her pointed mouth heels.

"Turn " I said putting on the necklace round her neck.

"It's old " She voiced out.

"And special". I calmly told her. She shrugged and walked out of the room. I muttered a bye and layed on the bed thinking of what the outcome of this arranged date might be.

Lizzy's POV.

I sight Michael at the extreme part of the restaurant.

"wow, he's becomed so handsome. "I muttered to myself as I looked at his pictures on my right hand. "He's even more cuter here". I noticed still looking at the pictures.

"Madam , are you..

"I've found him , thank you". I rudely interrupted as the waiter walks away. I walked briskly ttowards his table as I tap him at the shoulder. He looked up at me and smiled showing his nice dimples.

"You're here". He said standing up as he draws out a seat opposite him for me to sit. I muttered a thank you and sat down.

"you've become so beautiful , anyway I knew you would ". He compliments.

"And you're grown up now, look at you". I said sounding so nice.

"Ohh really?, thank you God for this is coming out from my woman ". I chuckled as he mentions that. If only he knew his woman is at home doing nothing.

"So what would you love to take?" He questioned. I looked through the menu.

" Casserole dish". I said knowing well that was Linda's best .

"As usual". He voiced out.

Linda's POV

"What's keeping them ?, it's already late and..

"I'm home". I heard her shout outside.

"There she is". I muttered rushing out of the room. I stood resting my back at the door as she watched one of her favorite TV channel.

"How did it go?" I asked.

"It went well". She replied nonchalantly. I walked over to the television set and switched it off.

"You should have just paused it ". She said as i sat beside her.

"Can I get the jist now?" I asked again.

"He's handsome, cute , lovely and charming ". She said.

" Can I see his pictures?" I asked smiling at how she described him. I was feeling proud tho.

"Here". She said showing me her phone and a set of photos.

"Awwwn , my mike is so handsome , oh my God". I shouted. She settled up and turned on the television set. I rolled my eyes and walked out into my room.

"He's a god". I said placing his photo beside mine. I brought it closer to my mouth and kissed it. My phone rang. it's him. Should I pick the call?, no what if he recognizes me. I rushed into the sitting room and gave lizzy the phone.

"Hello darling ". She said immediately she picked up.

"Babe, are you back?" I heard him ask. My heart fluttered hearing his voice.

"Yes , you?" Lizzy asked.

"Just drove in". He answered.

"I think maybe if you could come to my hospital tomorrow , about Lizzy's face". He said . My eyes glittered and I blinked twice. How ?, I thought.

"Alright, we'll be there tomorrow". She said immediately.

"Alright , goodnight ". He said.

"I love you ". I voiced out forgetting I'm not to talk , I thought he did not hear that as I flew my left hand to my mouth.

"I love you more". He said and ended the call. I smiled.

"Lover girl, you're lucky". Lizzy says as I laughs.

Sir Nathan.

I'm a doctor , and a good friend of luther. I've been incharge of this hospital since he died and I heard his son is currently in town to take over from his father. Now I'm thinking of solving the problem at hand which was why I sent for jessica , my daughter. I employed her to work here so I could succeed in my plans.

"what's up, dad" Jessica came in startling me.

"Ohh, you need to see your face right now". she said laughing.

"Sit down ". I told her. She sat looking seriously at me.

"Why did you call me?" she asked.

"He's back". I said.

"Yes, I know that ". She says nodding.

"I've decided to make you his assistant". I told her. She nodded in agreement. She's very smart and she knows what to do.

"I understand , dad". I nodded.
