Chapter 1

On the day of our wedding photo shoot, my girlfriend never showed up.

I waited at the studio until it was pitch black outside. The only thing I got was a text saying she had to fly out for an urgent archaeology project.

That same night, a video posted by her first love went viral on social media.

"A lover's eyes are the eighth ocean; they will always swell for a first love."

In the video, the two of them were locked in a deep embrace in front of the Swiss Alps.

In the comment section, my girlfriend's message was pinned at the very top.

"Your existence fills the void in my soul."

Everyone online was gushing over them, calling them the perfect couple.

I silently added my own thought: "Blessings to you both. I suggest you stay locked together forever."
