The guests stared at me with judging eyes. "No wonder Jake would rather get her all those things and not Chloe. This low-life doesn't deserve to be a member of our family."

"If they weren't uncle and niece, do you think that Jake would have ever married her? She might have used her mother's death to blackmail Jake into marrying her. Shameless. Using her mother's death to marry into the rich."

I felt my hands turn into fists. What a joke. Yes, loving Jake was my punishment. I looked at the divorce papers in my bag, turned, and walked upstairs to find Jake.

I ran into them on the balcony, where they were embracing.

Tiffany leaned on the rail and hugged Jake's neck. "Jake, can you hear my heart now? Is it still acting up?"

"Tiffany, we can't…" Jake tried to control himself, but his pants were telling a different story. Tiffany was on him, kissing him, "Don't you want me? You always tell me that you only have me in your heart. Even though you had to marry someone else, your body still has to be mine. Let's just do it this one time."

Jake caved, grabbing her head, kissing her passionately. The sound of ripping clothes followed by those moanings.

Listening to those corny words, I ran out of the house.
