Chapter 2 WEREWOLVES - THE ORIGIN

Before the Son of the Creator became carnal like us, except for sin and walked the Earth, despite all the thirst for power that emanated from the hearts of the shahs and conquerors, the mystical beings, under the wings of Creation, lived in harmony with the rest of humanity. However, some creatures, having been deceived by the fallen children of God, rebelled against Him, giving rise to various pagan cults, self-proclaiming themselves as gods. Cults to these new mystical gods were done in a variety of ways, because they were easier cults to perform and, because they had a quicker return of what humans asked for, many of these cults involved human sacrifices. All this corruption began when Adam met Eve, his wife, no longer just a partner, and she became pregnant and gave birth to a boy, whom he was called Cain, saying: "I got a man from the Creator". And after a year of nursing Cain, Eve gave birth once more. And from that birth another boy came into the world, the brother of Cain named Abel. The boys grew up, learned trades from their parents and after they no longer had their parents, they became working men, with Abel being a shepherd and Cain a farmer. And it so happened that at the end of seven months of hard work, Cain brought from the fruit of the ground an offering to the Creator. Abel also brought an offering, which was the firstborn of his sheep; and the Creator turned to Abel and to his offering. But for Cain and for his offering, the Creator did not pay so much attention. And Cain became very angry, his serene countenance falling, revealing to the world, the first feeling of envy and anger, of humanity. And the Creator said to Cain: "Why were you angry? And why did your countenance become angry? If you do well, is it not certain that you will be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin will knock at your door, and its desire will be heavy on you, but you must rule over it". And having an opportunity to be alone, Cain spoke with his brother Abel. And it came to pass, while they were in the field without the presence of the Creator, that Cain rose up against his brother Abel, and with a blow of the sickle slew him, striking his neck and cutting off his jugular. Cain licked the sickle, tasting his brother's blood and after that he went away from Abel, who agonized to death, crying out for the Creator. And the Creator said to Cain: "Where is Abel, your brother?" And he says: "I do not know. Am I now my brother's keeper?" And the Creator said: "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries out to me from the earth". And because of this cruel attitude, the Creator cursed Cain: "And now cursed are you, upon the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood shed by your hand. From now on, when you till the earth, it will no longer give you its strength, and you will be a fugitive and a wanderer forever". And just as the earth received the blood of Abel, so did Cain receive the blood in his mouth. From that day on, the fruits, which were taken from the earth, those same ones that Cain offered to the Creator, would no longer feed him, for his hunger would be insatiable: only by drinking blood, whether from animals or men themselves, from that condemnation it was that he might survive, to the end of days, for even death had been denied him. Then Cain said to the Creator: "Behold, today you cast me condemned on the earth, should I also hide from your presence?" The Creator was silent, but from that day forward, Cain was persecuted in all four corners of the world, and inherited as an eternal fate, to hide so as not to be killed. But as the Creator's compassion was much greater than his wrath, Cain was marked, to drive away his enemies: his canine teeth elongated and his eyes took on a new color, turned yellow and frightening. And these characteristics, before him, were never seen in any mortal. The creator's mark caused Cain to become a wanderer on Earth, making him wander around the world until he reached Node, land of Enoch, where he met Lilith, the "unsuitable": a mysterious woman who, upon knowing who that newly -arrived, taught him the powerful arts of blood and mastering this power, Cain transformed Node into a thriving city. In that time, he married a mortal and had children. But his descendants did not carry their father's curse, because Cain only fed on the blood of his animals. Despite the new life, Cain was not happy, because everything was fleeting and both his wives that he loved so much, and his children died soon, because they were not immortal like their father. And it was because he could no longer bear this solitude that he decided to transform the people who lived there into beings like him, thus giving rise to the first vampires. And despite this new life surrounded by beings like him, she was not very calm: she always faced and defeated those who wanted her death. Many travelers who came to Nod, due to Caine's peculiar characteristics and habits, considered him an aberration. Which was still true. One of the leaders of Nod, in a secret meeting, spoke in these terms: "That man, that Cain, always looks satisfied, even if he hasn't eaten. He never appears to be deprived. That's why he should be kicked out of Node as soon as possible! If we don't take care of expelling him or kill him ourselves, if he refuses to leave, that man's existence can interfere directly in our lives, making our own judgment, taking swift, energetic and unresolved measures. Therefore he must be banished from our presence!" From that day forward, all the efforts of the residents of Node were to try to destroy Cain at all costs. In one of these attacks against Cain, the same, to defend himself, ended up biting one of his foreign tormentors. In the desperate fight for his life, having no more options on how to defend himself, Cain bit his opponent's arm so that he would drop the sword he was holding and at the same moment he was choking him with great force, it was taking his breath away, almost causing him to lose consciousness. His large canine teeth entered the unfortunate man's flesh with force, causing Cain to stop his attack for a moment, coming to realize that human blood is much more appreciable than animal blood. That moment of appreciation gave the enemy a chance to flee from his presence. Cain, when he tasted the precious red liquid, soon remembered his brother's blood spilled on the ground and the pleasure he had felt when he saw Abel dying: the same pleasure he felt when he bit that man. However, this did not bring any joy in his heart, quite the contrary: Cain promised himself never to put human blood in his mouth again and so he lives, because until this day he expects to know death. The lot of Caine in Nod is, day after day, to prepare for death, all the while reflecting on whether it will come here or there, imagining the most honorable way to die, and focusing the mind on death with all your might, always fighting his vampiric instincts. During the years he lived in Node, three would have been those turned by Caine and these turned many others, creating a great lineage of vampires. After the first inhabitants of Node became like Caine, their thirst for blood didn't stop them and they started attacking humans, not doing like Cain, who fed on animal blood as a way to curb his instincts. The Creator, seeing the ferocity of that people, gave immunity to the bitten animals, not allowing them to be touched by the curse, making their blood bitter, in the mouths of vampires. Already some human victims died from the attack, depending on the blood taken from their bodies, while others turned into vampires. "We must try to overcome the great vampires of the past in this human corral and, day and night, defeat a powerful thoroughbred by day. Only in this way will our body be strengthened and we will become tireless and courageous, before the father of parents!" Unlike Caine, these new vampires were undead, as they had to die so they could transform into vampires. The angel of death found them no more, for their hearts did not beat in their chests. Some, with time, acquired control of the transformation, being able to very well blend in with the crowd of humans during the night, whenever they felt it necessary, hiding the large canines and the color of their eyes. They then became as they were before the transformation, except that they could no longer admire the sun, becoming nightlife people, fleeing into pits, caves, and coffins as soon as the first rays of the sun touched the earth, because the rays were the worst of all deaths to them: death by total cremation.
