Ugh, the week before the SATs, my freakin' sister posed as me and wrote a love letter to the star quarterback.

He called me out, cold. "Seriously? Gross."

I was the laughingstock of the whole damn school, bullied for a solid month.

And on the day of the SATs, my right hand got slammed in a door �C on "accident," of course.

I sat there in the exam hall, trying to write with my left hand, barely even finished half the sections.

Then I got pushed down the stairs after school �C and died. Only then did I find out it was all my sister's plan.

"What's wrong with me? Why can't I be enough?"

"You wanna take the SATs so bad? Go do it in hell."

"Mom and Dad only have me now. They'll finally just love me."

Then, bam! I wake up. It's the morning she hands me that letter. My sister's all shy, like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth. "Sis, could you maybe give this to Jake for me?"

I just smiled. "Relax, honey. I'll handle it. You got it."

Homeroom hadn't even started when the mock SAT scores came out.

I aced it �C 1580. My sister, Ashley, got a measly 900.

Ashley started fake-crying in her seat, but the second she saw me walk by, she cut it out.

She gave me this sickly sweet smile. "I knew you'd kill it, Sarah! Mom and Dad are gonna be so proud."

I just nodded and kept walking.

She looked stunned, like she couldn't believe I didn't even try to comfort her.

Ashley's all tiny and cute, always plays the damsel in distress. Everyone's always coddling her, feeling sorry for her.

"It's okay, guys. Sarah's just so excited about her score, she forgot about me, that's all!"

"Ash, you're too nice. Sarah's always like this, and you still stick up for her."

"She just thinks she's so cool 'cause she gets good grades. Big whoop."

Jake, the quarterback, strolled past my desk and glared at my score. "Grades aren't everything, you know."

I was too busy figuring out a stupid mistake I made in math to even look up.

He stood there for a full minute, then finally gritted his teeth. "Sarah, you're something else."
