Chapter 3

That night, Lexi posted a series of provocative selfies in sheer lace lingerie.

The background of the photos was unmistakably my own bedroom.

I fought back the rage and organized my files.

The next evening, she posted a group photo.

Asher was holding her, grinning from ear to ear.

He had actually taken her to the party.

A moment later, a new post appeared.

"Teehee! Asher says I'm ten thousand times prettier than the old witch at his house."

The photo was heavily edited.

I smirked. Since she was so eager to meet me, I shouldn't disappoint her.

I put on my most sophisticated makeup and headed to the club where the party was being held.

I arrived at the private lounge just as a girl came charging out the door.

She tripped and nearly slammed into me.

She immediately started screaming.

"Are you blind? Watch where you're going! You hit me!"

I looked at her face. What a coincidence. It was Asher's "Little Glutton."

She puffed out her chest and threatened me.

"You better apologize right now, or my boyfriend will make you regret it!"

She clearly didn't recognize me. Asher must have never shown her my photo.

It made sense. If she actually knew what I looked like, she wouldn't be so confident.

I laughed and arched an eyebrow.

"You're the one who wasn't looking. I'd love to see what your boyfriend can do to me."

She stomped her foot in a rage.

"Just you wait!"

She stormed back into the private room.

I heard her high-pitched, fake sobbing from the hallway.

"Baby! Some woman outside just shoved me and refused to apologize! You have to do something!"

Asher sounded furious.

"I want to see who thinks they can bully my girl and get away with it!"

I walked slowly into the room and leaned against the doorframe.

I smiled at the shocked faces in the room.

"It was me."
