Chapter 3 03

My name is Amelia, a graduate student who just graduated with a master's degree. I am going to an interview now, this is an opportunity I hardly got after going through layers of examinations with my own ability, in one of the top multinational companies in the industry. Although it is only a small assistant position, the salary and benefits are incomparable to other companies, and many people want to get in every time they recruit.

I opened the door of the interview room and bowed politely. When I raised my body, there were three interviewers sitting in front of me. The middle-aged one looked like the head, and the guy on the right seemed to be in charge of the interview process. Finally, I glanced at the one on the left, my eyes widened and I almost screamed.

It's him!

Two years ago, the gentleman I had an intimate relationship with!

Except that he looked more stable and manly, that handsome face and appearance were exactly the same as before, absolutely unmistakable.

I never thought that the man back then would be one of the interviewers. I don't know if this is a lucky thing or an unlucky thing. I was so anxious.

"Miss Anderson, please have a seat." The interviewer in the middle spoke without looking up, flipping through the materials in his hand, looking like the head of the three.

"Thank you." I took a deep breath and plucked up the courage to sit down in the chair in front of the interviewers.

"Miss Anderson, what do you know about the company? Also, what are your career plans and expectations?" The head began a series of routine questions after reviewing my information.

I took a sneaky glance at the one on the left. He was reading the written materials and didn't seem to notice me.

I calmed down and answered seemingly perfect answers to the questions I had prepared in advance without hesitation.

In the process of questioning and answering, the interview passed quickly. The middle-aged head wrote a brief comment on the interview materials. He asked the other two on the left and right if there was anything else to add.

Both shook their heads. The head turned to me and said, "Miss Anderson, thank you very much for your participation. We will notify you of the result in a few days." Then he nodded to the one on the left and asked him to call in the next interviewee.

"Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity for an interview." I maintained a confident and firm attitude and politely left the interview room.
