Chapter 3 Pei Yi, Let's Get a Marriage Certificate

"Baby, why are you crying? Don't cry. Tell mom any of your grievances. Don't cry. Don't cry. We don’t force you to get married!" Lin Xuejiao said painfully.

Su Zibao sniffed, wiped his tears, and said firmly, "Mom, I didn’t jump into the sea but slipped and fell into the sea when watching the scenery. I don't know who spread the news that I jumped into the sea to escape the marriage. I'm willing to marry the third young master. How valuable this chance is! How could I be so foolish, not to marry this great guy but to escape the marriage?

Everybody present was dumbfounded. Had Su Zibao said it? Did she want to marry the third son of Pei Family? Didn't she look at money as dung and wanted to pursue love? Why did she give in to business marriage now?

"Really?" Lin Xuejiao couldn't believe it.

"Yes!" Su Zibao nodded earnestly. Then she looked around and asked in make-believe astonishment, "Mom, where's my husband? I fell into the water and he wasn't there?'

Lin Xuejiao explained in awkwardness, "Everyone thought you would rather die than get married, which irritated Pei Family, so the young man didn't come. Baby, you are really..."

"No! Don't let him misunderstand me! Mom, send me to my husband. It's a big misunderstanding. It’s my wedding today. How can you let others smear me? How big a scandal it would be if the elder daughter of Su Family deserted the third son of Pei Family and eloped with another man on the wedding day." Su Zibao pretended to be angrier than everyone else, jumping out of bed quickly and furiously, "Don't stop me. I must find Mr. Pei to make it clear!"

"Baobao, you just woke up... Well, I'll arrange a car for you and take you to Pei's company." Lin Xuejiao tended to spoil this daughter and naturally let her do anything as she wished.

When Su Zibao left, Lin Xuejiao pointed at Su Liya and said, "I won’t argue with you today, but I will get even with you when my daughter comes back! You should dare to defame my daughter. Let’s wait and see! "

"Auntie, I didn’t do that. It was the eldest sister who jumped into the sea to escape her marriage..." Su Liya showed a wronged face.

But even Su Guoqiang sighed, "Liya, don't talk nonsense next time."

It was late in the evening. In the box of a KTV, Pei Yi, who was hugging girls in his arms, looked at Su Zibao who suddenly broke in.

This man was the third young master of Pei Family. His handsome face was like carved by the most intelligent craftsman in this world; his bushy eyebrows were in sharp shapes; his eyes were deep and charming. His delicate face alone was enough to make many rich girls fall in love with him. He wore a beige suit with a wine-red tie, which was a blue shirt, and he was holding two plump and sexy women in his arms.

Young, rich, debonair and unrestrained. These four words could be used to describe Pei Yi. In other words, he was a famous Playboy in Haicheng City.

This was the basic information Su Zibao got from her memory, but when she saw the man in person, she couldn't help being stunned. Pei Yi was absolutely the kind of man who could not be forgotten even at first sight.

"Hey, I wonder who dares kick our door. It turns out to be our runaway bride, Miss Su!" Song Yingjie, who was also dressed up as a playboy, gave her a cold smile. "Is Miss Su in the wrong place?"

Su Zibao took a glance and found the room was crowded with Pei Yi's disreputable gang in the box. Like the saying: Birds of a feather flocked together. A playboy certainly stayed with playboys. And they were surrounded by lots of beauties.

"I come here to ask Pei Yi to go to get the marriage certificate with me." Su Zibao looked at Pei Yi and spoke confidently.

"Pooh!" Song Yingjie sprayed out all the red wine. "Did I misheard you? Get the marriage certificate? Don’t you prefer dying to get married? Then why bother to get the certificate? You've brought a huge humiliation to the third master today so are you here to ask for abuse?”

Su Zibao took a deep breath and calmly walked up to Pei Yi. "Today we’d hold the wedding, so now let’s go get the certificate!"

Because Su Zibao fought hard to resist the marriage, they had not yet had time to get a certificate. But the wedding invitation had been sent out and it was inappropriate to reschedule, so the two families planned to ask the young couple to get the certificate on the wedding day.

However, Su Zibao escaped from marriage early in the morning and fell into the sea. Now Pei's attitude to their marriage might have changed.

"Master Pei, could the water enter into her head and so she turns dumb now? why does she talk nonsense?” Song Yingjie looked puzzled.

Su Zibao turned her head around and looked at him with an appropriate smile, "Mr. Song must make a mistake. I fell into the sea by chance when enjoying the views this morning and I don't know why it was rumored as I would rather die than marry Master Pei. But I have already fallen in love with Master Pei since a long time ago and I am very satisfied with the marriage. How could I resist it? Besides, I can see countless girls in Haicheng City want to marry Master Pei. I'm not foolish! "

“Weren’t you foolish?” Song Yingjie swore silently in his heart.

After all, Su Zibao had just returned from abroad. It was only a rumor that she refused to marry in pursuit of true love. Apart from Su Family, no one else knew what the truth was.

"Not jumping? A slip?” Song Yingjie looked suspicious.

"Mr. Song should know that some people are waiting to see the jokes of our two families. So you must be able to know why there is this rumor, right? Su Zibao said calmly, looking at Pei Yi with shining eyes. "Give me ten minutes. If you still don't want to talk to me, I'll leave right away."

A trace of surprise flashed across Pei Yi's eyes. This Su Zibao was different from the one in his memory.

“Leave us," he said in a low, deep voice.
