Chapter 2 I have another option.

“ A little more time!? How many more times? I have given you more than enough time”. He replied coldly.

“ Please..”. Collins begged from the corner he was.

One of the guards slapped him hard across the face making him fall. He bursted into loud tears immediately.

Teila's heart couldn't bear this. She joined him in crying too.

“ Please dont..t..t touch him, face me alone”. She whimpered.

“ A beggar giving commands, how cute”. Roderigo mocked, tightening his grip on her hair roughly.

“ Okay. Let me try to be reasonable here. If I give you a day more to pay up, how do you intend to raise the money“? He asked, staring intently at her.

“ I would..ermm..”. she stammered.

“ Shut up already, you bastard!”.

“ Now, I'm going to give you the opportunity to choose. Who's going to die in place of the debt..You or your brother ?“. He asked coldly.

Teila's face paled immediately. Was he really going to do this..?

“ Please don't do this. I'll do anything else you want”. She begged desperately.

Roderigo looked at her irritably. She was so fucking pathetic.

“ Anything I want“? He laughed coldly.

“Do you know what I want”?

“ I want to watch your beloved brother's heart being ripped out with blood streaming down my fingers. I want to watch his head roll away with ...”

“ It's enough please“. Teila cried using her hands to cover both her ears.

“ How dare you interrupt me!?”. He yelled, slapping her hard across the face.

This filthy girl was beginning to waste his time. He had a lot of work to do today other than being here.

He looked down at her. She was holding one of his legs tightly, her head down with tears streaming down her face. The tears streaming from her face made her slinky dress cling to her body leaving some images bare to his eyesight.

She looked really frail. Her full wavy hair falling across her face down to his feet.

“ I have changed my mind. I am giving you two options now. I take your brother and do whatever I choose to do with him or you go with me to my house“. He finished.

“ I choose the second option. I'll go with you“. She replied almost immediately.

He looked at her intently. He wasn't sure she understood what he meant. She was too... innocent.

“ I don't think you understand what I mean baby girl. I mean, you'll follow me home. You'll become mine alone, throughout that period. I will be free to do whatever I want to do with you..with all of you..at any time of the day”. He explained playing with a strand of her hair.

Teila stopped short. What!? She was shocked at what he just said.

“ And if I don't agree to this”..? She asked, muttering.

“ I'll make you watch your brother die”. He grinned.

Silence reigned for minutes.

She let out a deep tired breath and looked at her brother.

“ I'll go with you”. She replied.

“ Not a bad decision. As for your brother, I'll get him enrolled in a boarding school throughout this period. Not to worry, I'm aware he hasn't been to school in a while, he will be well taken care of “. He explained.

“ How long is this going to last?”.

“ One month“.

Teila grimaced. A whole month with a stranger..How more ugly were things going to be? She was going to miss her brother for sure.

“ Okay”. She replied.

“ We are moving now, there's no need to take any of your belongings along. Everything you need will be provided“. He said standing up.

She looked at her brother painfully once more and moved to give him a long tight hug. This was so difficult to accept..oh god.

The journey to his house was a very long one. Tired Teila fought to stay awake severely.

Finally, they arrived at his home. It was a very huge gigantic mansion. She thought this kind of house only existed in books or movies.

As he led her up the stairs, Teila was amazed at the way he ignored the people greeting him. He walked very fast and she had to run severally to catch up with him. The house seemed never to have an end as they kept walking past different rooms and doors.

He stopped short in front of a room and walked in. Teila walked in after him.

“ Wow”. She muttered quietly. The room was painted black and everything in it was all black. It held a fearful enthralling aura around it. It seemed like it was a powerful god who dwelled here.

She was so lost in looking around that she had forgotten someone was here with her in the room.

“ Come here”. Roderigo commanded in a cold compelling voice. He was sitting by the edge of the bed. She walked to him as though she was under a magical spell.

“ This is going to be your room from now on”. He said forcing her to look up at him.

“ Is this your room too..o..o”? She stammered.

“ Yes, we are going to be staying together“. He smirked.

Teila shivered. She felt fear around this man. He carried a dark cold aura around him..which she couldn't explain.

“ Is that all”? He asked.

“ Yes..s..s Sir”. She nodded.

“ Oh, well baby girl, you would have to stop calling me sir because from now on, you are mine, you are my slave, I own you..your body..your soul..your life”. He said.

“ By the way there are some laid down rules I have for you which I expect you to obey without complaint and I am going to list them out now. Okay?”. He continued.

Teila nodded again. His hands around her neck prevented her from speaking.

Roderigo couldn't explain why he had become more talkative than usual for the hours he had met this girl. He doesn't do this.
