Chapter 3

Ryan's POV

" It took you almost ten minutes to pull your shit together brick head."

She said the moment the window started coming down automatically.

I came face to face with my equal. My eyes almost pop out of their socket when I realize that she is human.

Then the old bat words started coming back into my brain.

Looking down to my phone inorder to confirm if it's true.

"The time will stop when you meet her." The old bat words came back.

Both my phone and wristwatch alongside the car digital clock stopped working.

All humans stood except her and vampires who work for me stopped.

"It will stop for 1,800 seconds when you meet her."her words rang in my head.

Taking my notepad,I counted for 1,800 seconds on it.

That's it,1,800 seconds divided by 60 equals 30 minutes.

The clock stop working for 30 minutes meaning I have found my equal and life partner.

Looking back to the spot she was standing some minutes ago,I found out she is gone.

"Mine!" I growled in anger making the thunder claps.

Her scent still linger on my tinted window. Why will she leave?

Humans are not contented on whatever they have.

She should be greatfull that I spare her some minutes of my time.

But instead,she ran away just like a coward and weak human she is.

I kept thinking about her rude behavior as we drove into my destination.

My door was opened and an umbrella was placed above my head.

Saving me from the hot wicked sun which are trying to peel off my skin.

I walk majestically into the place with people bowing and my bodyguards following me.

Ladies kept shooting me flirting stares while I smirk at some who were drooling.

Am a very cute and handsome which they can't get enough of.

Reading through their minds,some where asking for one night stand.

Some where begging God to make me just look at them once.

Granting the girl's wish,I look at the girl who ask for it.

And gross, everything she used where fake unlike my equal who is perfect.

Fake Barbies doll like them will only come into your life just because of your money.

She fainted the moment I wink at her while some of her co workers attend to her.

Women can never stop being the same,they are all money lover and chasers.

I thought rolling my eyes at some thoughts before blocking them out of my mind.

I was led into an office where I was given a big black sit.

Slipping into my cold straight business mode,we began the business of the day...

Venessa POV

The moment I finish packing and putting the files together,I can't help but sigh in relieve.

Thanks to that my Mr tunting for invaliding my thoughts.

All I have been thinking of is his black eyes that held nothing but love.

Urghhh.....God venessa seriously? His beautiful eyes that held nothing but love?

My inner mind questioned making me realize what I just said.

I don't even know what to think of except his gorgeous lips and hair.

I thought staring into the space like I am looking into his handsome face.

Seriously? that's the same man you do cry to leave and get out of your dream.

My inner mind said hissing.

Of course yes,he is the same person but the one I met some hours ago looks calm while the dream one looks scary.

I said picturing the two in my head for my inner mind to see him the way I just did.

Gross girl! How did he start tunting you in your dream before he turns into your nightmare?my inner mind stated.

I wanted to reply but I started hearing peoples talking from outside.

Looking through the window,I saw a guy in black and his bodyguards also in black tailing after him.

Had it been what happened today was one of my nightmare,I would have jumped out to take a look.

But today,my active self is locked up dip down far away from my reach.

That I can't reach out to call. It's only the Working side of me that's at work.

"Nessa!" Mia cheering voice called out breaking into my thought.

"What again Mia!" I groaned slipping my now cold coffee.

"You should have seen the guy that I want to hook up with you.

He is so handsome and cute."she said blushing while staring into the space.

Picking the files I want to submit,I walk down to my door.

"Am not interested!" I snap walking out of my office without letting her say anything.

I don't even know why I snapped at her,I was the one that asked her to help me out with it.

Only God knows what the hell is wrong with me and my emotions.

Stumbling into the MD's office, using my hands to pull my hair to the side.
