Chapter 2 Pregnant

"Beep, beep, beep beep" the sound hits her eardrum and that wakes her up. She opens her eyes and the brightness makes her close it back immediately. She noticed she was lying down and tried to stand up but she immediately noticed the drip connected to her body. "You are awake" her mom said coming into the room.

"What's going on, why am I here?" She asked in confusion.

"You don't remember?" Her mom asked. And flashbacks hit her immediately, she can clearly remember how she was rape but can't do anything about it. The worst is that she can't even recognize her rapist.

"I am ruined" she said as tears fell down her face.

"No baby, don't say that" her mom said, cleaning her tears.

"How did I get here?" She asked gently.

"A cleaner that was going to clean the room found you unconscious on the bed, she brought you to the hospital and called me" she explained.

"Mom, somebody ruined me and I don't even know him," she said as her tears increased.

"No one was found around the place, it was just you, I don't know who to suspect, " her mom said.

She was later discharged from the hospital and can't go to school for a month because of the humiliation. . . . . .

She finally mustered some courage to go to school and as she had expected all attention was on her as people made different comments.

🙄She is finally coming to school, I thought she is no longer coming.

😂I can't believe it, she actually thought senior Blake loves her, she is so dumb.

😀Her mother still bought clothes for her, I am sure she will be the one buying undies for her too" a girl said and everyone chuckled, she ignored them all and walked to her class. Belle's face brightened up immediately when she saw her.

"You finally decided to come, I have missed you so much, " she said, hugging her tightly.

"I am so dumb, I wish I had reason with you then" she muttered.

"Don't say that, it's all because of love," Belle said.

"People hate me now, I hate the attention on me" she said sadly.

"Don't care about them, just enjoy yourself" she said holding her hand, they both found somewhere to sit.

"So how about Blake?" She asked slowly.

"I can't believe you are still asking after that jerk, he came to school the next day and made it known to people that you are nothing to him, he also said Amelia is his girlfriend, they graduated last week" Belle said.

"So I won't see him again," she said sadly. "I actually taught him a lesson, you should see his face, it was full of bruises, I will make sure I kick his ass, he will pay for breaking my friend's heart," Belle said.

"You hit him," she asked in surprise.

"I do because he deserves it, you didn't come to school for weeks and he was smiling like he wasn't the reason behind it" Belle said with a funny look which made her chuckle. . . . . "I actually got paid yesterday so eat as much as you want" Belle said as they walked into the cafeteria.

"I am having a huge appetite today, aren't you scared I may finish your money" she asked.

"You can finish it, I don't care," Belle said. They both ordered their food and they both started eating immediately. Alexa suddenly stood up which caught the attention of the students. "What's wrong?" Belle asked.

"I am feeling nauseous" she said covering her mouth to prevent her from vomiting, she runs out of the cafeteria and Belle follow her. She quickly rush into the female restroom while Belle was waiting for her outside, she hear the sound of her vomiting.

"Alexa, are you okay?" he called worriedly.

"I am okay," she said, coming out of the room.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"I don't know, I think the smell of the food makes me nauseous, I am also feeling weak" she said gently.

"Are you sick?"she asked.

"I am not sure, I have been experiencing these symptoms for a few days now" she mutters.

"Maybe you should visit the hospital" she said but was shocked when she suddenly fell down.

"Alexa! Alexa!!" She screamed in panic, a guy that was coming from the restroom helped and carried her to the school clinic. Because of the highschool statues, there are a lot of doctors, so it was reliable. . . . . . Fews Hours Later

Alexa woke up with a slight fever, she wasn't feeling good. She looks beside her to see Belle looking at her with pity.

"Who is responsible for it?" Belle suddenly asked in confusion.

"Responsible for what?" She asked gently.

"Did Blake do it before breaking your heart, if so I will kill that jerk" she said while gritting her teeth.

"I don't understand what you are talking about," she said.

"Alexa you are pregnant" she said giving her the report. The doctor actually tested her to know what was wrong when Belle explained her symptoms.

"What!" She said opening the paper, the paper immediately fell as her tears flowed.

"Who is responsible for the pregnancy? " Belle asked again.

"I don't know, " she said as her tears increased.

"What do you mean by that?" Belle asked with raised eyebrows.

"On the prom night, I was raped and I don't even know the person, the room was dark and I was too weak to fight back, they must have drug me" she said while cleaning her tears with the back of her hand.

"Something like that happened to you " Belle asked in shock, she had actually thought it was because of the humiliation that she was absent, she never imagined that something as serious as this would happen to her.

"I have to keep it a secret because it was shameless, '' she said.

"You have gone through a lot, and it's all that jerk fault, " she said.

"What am I gonna do about the baby now?" she said sadly.

"Nothing bad, you are going to keep it, I will stand beside you trust me" she said, cleaning her tears. The door opened and a nurse came in.

"Miss Alexa, you are needed at the office, the head principal is waiting for you" the nurse said before going out.

"Did you think the doctor told her already?" She asked worriedly.

"Let hope, he hasn't, go and see what is going on, I will wait for you outside " Belle said. She stands up and follows the nurse to the office, Belle waits outside while she goes in.

"Miss Alexa, have your seat" the head principal said immediately she saw her. She sat down gently without looking up.

"The doctor told me already, honestly I wasn't expecting that from you, I thought you are some serious student but that doesn't seem true" she said looking at her weirdly.

"I am sorry" she said as her tears increased, she couldn't even explain anything because they wouldn't believe her.

"What was our first rule for a lady, I am very sure I gave you the rule book" she said.

"Pregnant students would be expelled," she said sadly.

"Thank goodness you remember, so this is your expulsion letter" she said, dropping the letter in front of her.

"I am sorry" she said again.

"You know sorry can't do anything, I want you out of the school, you really spoiled your future, a lot of students are out there looking for an opportunity to get into our school through scholarship, but you misuse yours, I am sorry disappointed" she said watching her before walking out of the place. Alexa also came out a few minutes later and with the look on her face, Belle already knew what happened.

"This school and their rules," she said, rolling her eyes. She helped her to pack her stuff as they walked out of the school, the students were watching them. It seems like they have an idea of what might have happened, they keep on whispering as they both walk out of the school.

As they enter the taxi, she bursts into tears, she can see all her dreams suddenly vanishing and she can't do anything about it. She will never forget the day that destroyed her whole life.

They got home and explained everything to her mom, she burst into tears, she could understand what her daughter was facing right now. The humiliation makes them decide to move to the countryside, so they can live a private life.

Few Days Later

"I will miss you so much," Belle said, hugging Alexa tightly.

"I will too, but I promise to get in touch, we will call every time" she said with a smile which is obviously fake.

"Take care of yourself and the baby," she said.

They move all their belongings to the truck waiting outside for them.

"Make sure you come for a visit," Alexa's mom said.

"I promise," she said, cleaning the tears streaming down her face. She watched as they both entered the truck and waved till it was out of sight. Alexa smiles watching as the city disappears, she has actually planned to be strong for her baby. . . . . She gave birth a few months later. She was shocked when the doctor said there's another baby. She didn't go for a scan or ultrasound, so she didn't know she was giving birth to twins.

Looking at her boys, her heart was filled with joy, they look so identical, she can barely diffeciste them. They both have blonde hair and brown eyes which she believes they got from their father because her hair is black and her eyes are blue.

"They are mine, my baby" she thought, looking at them with so much love. For the first time after a tragedy had happened she smiled a sincere one.

She carries the one that has a little mole on his nose, the boys look at her mother.

"Your name is Jace," she said while caressing his cheeks. She carries the second twin.

"Your name will be Jason" she said and hugged them both to his chest. Her mom was watching her with a smile, she felt so happy to welcome her first grandchildren.

Four Years Later

After four years of living in the countryside, they finally decided to move back to the city. They were able to rent a little apartment from the little they had made from working. The twins weren't so excited about it because they were leaving their friends but immediately they stepped into the city and all their sadness was gone. The beautiful things they saw made them so excited. As the truck enters the city Alexa can't help but to remember all that has happened to her, what made her leave the town.

Before she realizes a tear slips out of his eyes.

"Mom, are you crying again?" Jace asked, looking at her face.

"No, I am not, " she said, cleaning the tears.

"You are crying, see water" Jason said touching her tears.

"I thought you promised not to cry anymore?" Jace asked in a breaking voice, it seemed like he would start crying in a minute.

"Am just happy, I miss this place so much" she said while covering up with her smile.

"You should smile while happy not cry, it makes us sad," Jason said cutely.

"Okay cuties, sorry for making you sad," she said, hugging them both.

Her children are the most loving on earth, they make sure she is not sad, any time she is in a bad mood, that will affect them. They study her to the extent they know her emotions just by looking at her.

They have grown up to be very smart and cute, they got attention wherever they went, they don't play with their mom.

She looks toward them to see they are already sleeping on her mom's lap. She knows she has to forget the past and focus on the future, coming to the city, she will make good use of it. She can't wait to meet her best friend Belle.
