As the notoriously straying wife in a drama novel, I had plenty of self-awareness.

My husband had a broad back and a razor-sharp waistline, but I wasn't allowed to touch him.

So naturally, I decided to find a hot college boy instead!

That was how I set my sights on Cole, who was handing out flyers near the shopping center.

I offered him a generous monthly allowance of five grand.

I even promised him an internship verification letter.

The company seal, of course, was swiped directly from my husband's desk.

I hadn't expected that the moment I brought him to a hotel suite, the system would suddenly scream.

Its tone went from excitement to sheer panic: 【Host, how did you find the second male lead so fast?! Wait, where are your hands going?!】

And so, looking at the tall, gorgeous man sitting on the bed, I let out a long sigh.

"Put your clothes back on. I'm not in the mood."

Sure enough, top-tier men always belonged to the female lead. A villainess like me had no right to defile them.

From that day on, I flicked the switch to professional mode.

Devoted wife to my husband by day, sultry confidante to the college boy by night.

Every night, like an impotent partner, I stared helplessly at Cole's shirt garters and diamond body chains, weeping on the inside.

I had almost grown numb to the whole routine until I went to meet Cole one day and overheard him bragging to his buddies.

"Hazel is just a lonely older woman. If I weren't having fun slumming it, she'd never get anywhere near my social circle in her lifetime!"

His flunky poured more bourbon into his glass, grinning obsequiously.

"So, Young Master Davenport, when are you going to drop the bomb and tell her you're the heir to the Davenport empire?"

Cole scoffed disdainfully. "Let's wait a bit longer. I haven't had my fill of playing around yet."

I sneered in my heart.

Fine. Keep playing with my feelings, buddy. I'll be right here waiting for you, and it won't hurt one bit!
