Chapter 3 A NIGHT-STAND

WATSON'S POV

I rolled my eyes and scoffed "I know and it's not like I don't want to get married, It's just that I'm yet to find a woman I want to be with." I replied, lowering my eyes to look at my fingers.

"Wait, Don't tell me you are still thinking about that girl? Do you even remember what she looks like? It's been years, Watson! The girl must have gotten married by now or who knows if she even escaped back then? Maybe she's dead by now!"

I slammed my hand on the table and stood up. My eyes glowed fiercely and my teeth were slowly growing into a fang "Stop! Just... Stop!" Talking was difficult as my fang kept grazing my lower lip but I had to stop my mother at all cost. Without waiting for her to say another word, I ended the call and threw the phone away.

I started pacing around in my office, I was restless and I was bothered. It had been 15 years already and we were very young back then. The little girl who risked her life to save me back then... She would survive that fire, she would escape and she would surely be fine.

I've been searching for her for the past five years but all the report I got was that she was dead even though I was certain she wouldn't because the girl I knew was smart, she was strong and she would never give up on life.

She even promised to look for me when she grew up and I knew she would come one day ~

But why? Why won't anyone believe me? Why did they keep clamouring about her death? Even my mother wished for her to die when she knew how much her son's life depended on the girl...

I was devastated yet again and my mood was completely soured. The thought of losing her alone was enough to drive me mad and well... That was how I ended up in this hotel's VIP club room.

It was one of my hotels and it was big enough for my business friends and me to have some fun for a few hours Maybe that would help me calm down. I was still drinking and thinking when I suddenly felt hot.

It was uncomfortable at first but soon, I felt my body craving for something... Something more than just drink. I grabbed one of the Waiters attending to us in the room and pulled her on my lap. "Can you satisfy me?" The question came out of my mouth before I could even think about anything else.

The lady chuckled, she wrapped her arms around my neck and brought her lips closer to mine. She was about to kiss me when I placed a finger on her lips and pushed her back. "Don't you dare!" I warned before pushing her away from my lap.

I shook my head, trying to control myself as I stood up from my seat. I had no idea what was happening to me but I knew I had to leave that place before I lost complete control over my body.

"I need to rest for a while. I will be back later." I told the men around me who somehow looked no better than I was. They seemed drunk too and were already misbehaving with the Waiters in the room.

I was about to leave the room when one of the waiters rushed over to me and hugged me from the back. "You should let me help you, Mr Griffin. There's no way you can survive without a woman right now even though you're an Alpha..." The lady said and my eyes twitched.

In anger, I dispersed an overwhelming killing intent that pushed the Waiter away and made her fall ass flat on the ground. She whimpered as she tried to move away from me but before she could, I grabbed her neck and looked straight into her eyes. "You drugged me? So, All of you Waiters planned together to drug us?" I questioned coldly while my fingers tightened around her neck, causing her to gasp.

She was looking at me with tears in her eyes as she tried to explain but I wasn't ready to listen. With a low grunt, I threw her to the side and wiped my hand on the ground before I stood right... Well... I was staggering.

I brought out my phone and made a call "Tell Martins to send the most beautiful Waiter to my room." With that, I ended the call and left the room.

If they were ready to sell their body, then I'd choose the best of them before firing them all.

I made my way to my special room and fell into bed. I removed my clothes, leaving only my boxer on me as I made my way to the bathroom but to my dismay, I felt no better. My body was still hot and uncomfortable... I needed something more than a bath.

I waited impatiently for the Waiter to come and when she did, a smug smile appeared on my face just by hearing her voice alone. When she turned on the light, I was even happier to see how pretty and delicate she looked but that only added to the disgust I had toward her. How could someone so beautiful yet delicate do something like drugging men? Was she that desperate to be laid or she just wanted money?

"Help me..." I wasn't planning to say that but it came out of my mouth anyway and just as expected, she initiated a kiss and soon, we had things rolling.

Waking up the next morning, I stood up from bed and entered the bathroom to wash up while the Waiter was still sleeping peacefully in bed. The smile on her face was so bright that it irked me and confirmed the fact that she truly drugged me to crawl under my sheet.

With a small groan, I walked into the bathroom, had a nice bath, and dressed up but the lady was still sleeping. After a while, I moved closer to bed and tapped her sleeping face. "Hey!" I called softly.

She stretched her hands, yawned and opened her eyes. Her eyes sparkled the moment she saw my face and a small hue found its way to her cheeks as she revealed the most beautiful smile I had ever seen.

"Good Morning~" Her tiny voice sounded like a melody to my ears and I was momentarily hypnotized by her but it was just a... moment.

I cleared my throat and stood right before throwing a bundle of money on her lap and turned around to leave. "That's your pay. My men will get you later for proper punishment." I wasn't going to let her go, I wasn't going to let her live...
