Chapter 3 Learn to love me.

Amelia's POV

I woke up some hours later in my uncle's mini clinic, he was backing me while preparing his herbal medicines. Once I stood up, he immediately left what he was doing and approached me.

"Amelia how are you doing?" He asked me while placing his hands on my forehead.

"I'm doing fine, but what happened?" I asked him with a confused tone.

"I'm supposed to be the one asking you that question, I was helping you up and suddenly you started groaning in pain and next thing you pass out; so what happened?" He asked me with an inquisitive look and immediately I remembered what happened earlier but I wasn't ready to discuss it with him so I kept silent.

"Tell me, when the future Alpha rejected you, did you accept his rejection," he asked me after some minutes of silence but I shook my head negatively.

With that he heaved heavily before sitting beside me.

"You should have accepted the rejection, when people try to show you that you aren't important in their lives, show them that you much better off without them," he said to me with a calm tone while placing his hand on my shoulder.

"Now that he have marked another she-wolf without the both of you completing the rejection process you are going to be the one who is suffering the whole pain because he initiated the rejection process but you refused to finish it. I hope that what happened earlier doesn't happen again especially when someone isn't around," he said to me with a worried tone.

"I can endure it," I said to him with a reassuring tone before faking a smile at him.

"I hope so," he said to me before pulling me near to him in a warm embrace.

"I saw your belongings being arranged in your luggage, were you planning to leave the house?" He asked me while maintaining me in his embrace and immediately I nodded while avoiding his gaze.

With that he shook his head in disbelief while smiling at me.

"And where were you heading to?" He asked me with an amazed tone but I remained silent because truly I didn't know where I could have gone if I had actually left the house.

"I knew that you were going to do something drastic, that's why I hurried back home after the coronation," he said to me after freeing me from his embrace.

"Do you mind if I tell you a good news," he asked me with a warm smile.

"Yes of course, you know how much I love good news," I said to him out of excitement, a warm smile hovering over my face.

"With all that happened today I know that you won't be comfortable staying in the Pack and also seeing the face of your ex mate everyday; because of that I called your aunt Lucy and asked her if it was possible for you to come and stay with her for a little while and guess what, she accepted," he said to with a warm smile.

"Really?" I asked him out of excitement, my face beaming with smile and immediately he nodded positively while smiling.

Actually aunt Lucy have been more than a mother to me since my parents passed away. After my parents demise she came and spent a little time with us accompanied by her two daughters, Audrey and Sandra; through out their whole stay, they made sure that I didn't lack anything or feel lonely through.

Unfortunately they couldn't stay too long in our Pack because of their different occupations in their Pack but since their departure my aunt has always been sending me monthly allowance to take care of my various needs.

"Once I'm done with what I'm doing, I will go and see the Alpha and seek permission permission on your behalf for you to leave," he said to me with a warm smile.

"Thank you, Thank you, Thank you," I repeated excitedly while hugging my uncle tightly.

"Don't mention it my dear, just as I told you earlier, I hate seeing you crying," he said to me while patting me on the shoulder.

"Go and prepare what we will eat for dinner, it's already getting late. Meanwhile once I'm done with what I'm doing, I will go and see the Alpha," he said to me while standing up from the bed.

"Right away uncle, and I'm going to cook your favourite dish for dinner," I said to him while leaving the clinic.

Adrian's POV

I have been in my room since after marking the mate who my father had chosen for me and since then I still can't help but feel guilty for what I did to Amelia, she's the only she-wolf who I had ever loved and even after rejecting her, my feelings towards her still haven't changed and I pray that the moon goddess forgives me for rejecting her. I know that deep down, she will be thinking that I rejected her out of my own will but the truth is I didn't, I did what I did in order to please my father as always. If I hadn't accepted to mark Stacey as my arranged mate surely he would have heed to his threat which was making my younger brother the heir to the throne and I couldn't afford to loose my position as the Future Alpha, it's my birthright and I can't let it go because of some mate issues. I hope that she finds another mate who would love her more than me and who won't also choose the throne or something else over her.

As these thoughts were running through my mind, the door of my room bursted open and immediately Stacey walked in.

From my facial expressions she could already see the hatred I felt towards her, if my eyes contained bullet, possibly she would already be dead by now.

Once she came into the room, without uttering a word to me she came and sat beside me on the bed and started romancing me.

"What are you doing?" I asked her with an angry stare before shoving her hand off my body.

"What do you think I'm doing?" She asked me with an irritated tone.

"Well I don't know what you were doing, but don't repeat it again," I said to her with a firm tone.

"I shouldn't repeat it again? I'm your mate for crying out loud,"she said to me while raising her hands in frustration.

"You aren't my fated mate, you are my arranged mate, arranged by my father and if you are thinking that I'm going to fall in love with you or anything like that then know you are waisting your time; you already know who I love so don't keep your hopes high on me," I said to her while peering into her eyeballs.

I could clearly see how she was hurt by statement but in order to show that she isn't hurt, she bit her lips and shook her head in disbelief, a cunning smile hovering over her face.

"Who cares whether you love me or not, the most important thing here is that I'm already your mate; so love whoever you want but that isn't going to change the fact that I'm still your mate and the future Luna of this Pack and as a dutiful future Luna that I am, I will soon be carrying your Alpha pups in my womb," she said to me while standing up from the bed.

"A little bit of advice my lovely mate, start learning to love me, because refusing to do so will only make your accession to the throne complicated," she said to me before blowing a kiss at me and with that she started cat walking out of the room.
