After my model girlfriend was rescued from a kidnapping, she claimed she couldn't have any contact with men.

In all our years together, I had never touched her.

But right before she announced her retirement, she took on a highly provocative commercial.

In the video, the two of them were fiercely intertwined, looking like they wanted to meld their bodies together.

When I confronted her, a look of disgust flashed in her eyes.

"Connor, can you stop having such filthy thoughts?"

"If it weren't for you, why would I even have this trauma?"

I looked at the photo her secret spam account had posted on the exact night she was supposedly kidnapped and missing.

She was out eating sushi with someone else.

I calmly canceled my plans to propose to her tonight.

Years of our relationship were nothing but her putting on a brilliant act.

On the day I was supposed to propose.

Chloe, who had promised to come home early, broke her word.

"The investors are taking me out to dinner, so I'll be back late."

Chloe once had a terrifying experience.

She was kidnapped and subjected to inhuman torment.

It caused her to keep a safe distance from all men.

Even though we were about to get married, we couldn't take that final step.

Not only that, but she refused all physical intimacy with me.

If I even got slightly close to her, she would start gagging uncontrollably.

Over the years, she never accepted any jobs that crossed the line.

Because of this, I took her to every top therapist and specialist in Los Angeles.

Chloe would often thank me with tears in her eyes.

"Connor, you are the best partner in the world."

"When I'm fully healed, I promise to give you an unforgettable night."

I never asked for much, just for her to be healthy and happy.

If we couldn't be intimate for the rest of our lives, so what?

But now, I was staring at the wildly erotic commercial playing on a loop on the TV.

Chloe and that man were incredibly intimate, tangled together in pure passion.

Something inside my heart shattered in an instant.

It turned out her so-called trauma was selective.

With me, even a slight touch made her dry-heave.

With him, she could surrender to raw, desperate desire.

Sitting on the balcony, I smoked cigarettes all night, even though I usually never touched tobacco or alcohol.

Chloe pushed the bedroom door open and walked in.

Smelling the smoke, she immediately pinched her nose in complaint.

"Connor! Didn't I tell you we need to prepare for a baby after we get married? Why are you smoking?"

I turned to look at Chloe downstairs, and she was just as beautiful as ever.

The only difference was the visible hickey on her neck.

It was left by that man.

I pulled my gaze away and continued smoking the cigarette in my hand.

Chloe sensed the mood was off, so she came up, took the cigarette away, and softened her tone.

"Alright, I know it was wrong to ditch you at the last minute, but I really couldn't get out of it."

"Besides, I came back early, so please don't be such a buzzkill."

A buzzkill?

So the proposal I had spent a whole month planning was just a buzzkill to her.

I crushed the cigarette and walked into the bedroom without looking back.

Chloe kept nagging behind me.

"I thought about the wedding, and I think we should just call it off for now."

"I just retired from the industry, and I want to save some time for myself."

I nodded randomly in agreement, and Chloe's mood seemed to improve.

She reached out, grabbed my hand, and smiled.

"I prepared a little surprise for tonight. You'll definitely love it."

After saying that, she opened her trench coat to reveal the sexy lingerie underneath.

This was a scene I had dreamed of for years.

But seeing it now only made me feel completely sick to my stomach.

I rushed into the bathroom and threw up until my head spun.

Chloe's face instantly dropped, and she yelled at me.

"Connor, what the hell is that supposed to mean?"
