Chapter 2

She opened her eyes violently, sitting up on the bed, her chest rising and falling restlessly. Her room was very dark even though it was barely around 10:00 am.

She put a hand to her forehead before finding some cold sweat ... it was not usual that being a vampire things like that would happen, but since few vampires sleep like she becomes more normal, she was also one of the few vampires whose diet was reduced to self-stolen blood.

Even though it was early according to her sleeping hours, that she was naked and in her darkroom, something told her that staying asleep for a long time would make the nightmares more and more intense.

Then she slid his jade-colored sight around the room, the one in which she could see better thanks to her abnormal abilities, then she noticed a certain detail ... They had not done the cleaning the night before, all for the simple fact that that painting was recharged from the front against the wood of the furniture.

The matter made her reach for her robe and then get up. She walked through the darkness to the cabinet and took it, arranging it properly. Then she looked around and without considering it much more, she yawned to walk towards the shower, taking a cold bath since she had a very bad record when showering with the hot water.

After bathing, she got comfortable and left her room very early, still 20 minutes before midnight. Many reacted somewhat surprised to note that she had gotten up so early but continued on her way as she advanced towards the kitchen, leaving the housing complex.

"Good morning, Yuki" Alejandra greeted "I'm surprised you're up so early, I'm just making lunch"

"Good morning, Ale" she replied, pretending to enter, but stopped.

"I'm sorry, I have garlic" the girl made a face "I know you hate its sheer scent, so you'd better not go inside"

"I support you" she said "I imagine Xander and Jose will be sleeping… I'll see how to wake them up she warned, leaving there, taking a calm step but stopping in front of the blond's door for a few seconds"

"I can smell you" she heard from within, so she smiled to herself "Come in, it's open"

"Good morning, Jose" she said, entering very naturally.

"Your scent is always very strong in the morning" he complained, his torso uncovered and gently rubbing the back of his neck.

"I'm sorry, it's the nightmares" she assured, turning on the light that didn't bother him and then trying to pour himself a glass of cold water "I even sweated" she said raising her eyebrows, to which he yawned, stretching.

"It's as if you were half-human, it must be a sequel to your poor diet" he said almost to himself "The organization gives you human blood, however, you ..."

"I won't be like them" she answered immediately "I'm strong enough without having to drink from humans, I don't care. I can survive with this, however, we should wake up Xander"

"The priest doesn't need that" he said, taking a cigarette from his nightstand and lighting it with a click "Mnh… Yuki, you won't be able to catch up with them if you keep on like this"

"Oh, yes I can" she replied, going to take the cigarette from his hands and put it on her lips "After all, I am a Draculina" The blond looked at her seriously, as she let the smoke escape from her lungs "This will kill you"

"You are not a Draculina, you are not his woman" he snapped, to which she smiled amusedly at his words "One way or the other. What should we do?"

"Gabriela has something for us"

"Hn?" He looked at her confused "Has she called you?" But she shook her head, to which he opened his eyes a little "I see… it's speeding up. Even without human blood"

"Hurry up and get dressed" she said, consuming the cigarette.

After those words, the boy dressed immediately. They both left the room ready as they made their way to the segment dedicated to humans, where Xander waited patiently for them. They both stopped when they saw him, their faces shocked and incredulous, to which he looked back at them.

"Come on, it's not so weird that I'm here before ..."

"It's completely impossible!" They exclaimed in unison, at which he smiled quite gracefully, gesturing for them to follow.

"Gabriela!" He knocked on the door, opening it without further ado "Good"

"Knock on the door before entering, Xander" the woman snorted, a bottle of sake at her side from so early "I can see that they are improving. I didn't even have to call them, did you predict that Xander?"

"Something like that, but Yuki came by herself with Jose"

"I see" the woman began, turning to face them before sighing "She's moving faster than I thought" She sounded complaining as she closed the book in her hands "Yuki, I've heard that the nightmares continue. Inform me"

"There is nothing new she began. All the symptoms point to the moment approaching, teacher. But it is you who have information about it, different from the priests or the oracles I cannot have a clue of the future except for the predestined"

"Certainly" she said uneasily "I promised that this specific case would be for you, but I will have to give you support if things get serious. "Tsk" he blurted out, before smiling and seeing the blonde before them "Old ... Let us go catch them, we will get information!" He was completely excited.

"I knew you'd say that" she complained "But I'm afraid I've already sent two priests and two Hercules to take care of it" Jose's expression immediately worsened"Don't look at me like that, boy. Even if I wanted to, they have an extremely powerful priest… one of the Big Three who could defeat me, even if I did battle. I can't put Yuki at risk, especially if things go this way. She is growing up as Draculina"

"Yuki is not his Draculina!" He yelled annoyed "Stop calling her that way! She is not his wife!"

"I'm not afraid of love, Shizune" she began, as she sipped her sake, taking a few seconds to digest it "I fear her hatred. The worst that can happen to love is that there is a new Dracula"

"But in these times, a new Dracula would be ..."

"Nor will I make such a mistake" she snapped "A child of Dracula does not wake up until the combined blood of his parents forces him to do so, and no pregnancy of any kind depends on an encounter. But a fight between a Dracula and a Draculina could affect the balance more than anything ... a story like this has never been told because it has not existed. We are going to prevent it"
