In my past life, I gave up a soaring career to be the woman behind Tyler.

My sacrifices were taken for granted by him and his family, and they treated me like a live-in maid for years.

Eventually, Tyler cheated on me with my best friend, Tara.

To take everything I owned, they drugged me and threw me into a psychiatric ward, where I was tortured until I died.

When I opened my eyes again, I chose to walk away from those toxic ties and swore to get my revenge!

When I died, my husband, Tyler, was letting go of my hand with a look of pure disgust.

Tara, standing beside him, asked nervously, "Is she really dead? Will someone find out?"

Tyler didn't care at all. He said, "She was a crazy woman who ran into a wall herself. Who can blame us?"

My soul floated beside them, and I tried to tear them apart with all my might, but my hands just passed through them.

I didn't know why I was trapped by their side even after death.

Tyler and I had been together for five years and married for four. I had never seen him love someone so intensely.

He would bring Tara beautiful roses after work and take her out for candlelit dinners.

Most of the time, they would roll around in the bed of the house I had carefully decorated.

It made me want to vomit.

But after watching it for so long, I became numb.

Just as I was losing all hope, my parents realized my death wasn't an accident and started investigating.

The day they found the truth, Tyler sent someone to run them over on their way to the police station.

I watched my parents lying on the ground, crying and begging strangers for help.

The crowd at the accident scene walked right through my spectral body.

The police ruled it an accident caused by a drunk driver.

The truth about my death was buried in the dirt along with my parents.

I was driven to the brink of insanity, but I could do nothing but scream at Tyler and Tara in useless rage.

I asked them over and over, "Why? Why would you do this to me?"

Tyler was my first love. I loved him so much that I was willing to drop my career and my inheritance to support him.

He told me he wanted me to be his pillar of strength. For those words, I even let my father almost disown me.

But my devotion only turned me into the Blackwood family's servant.

I went from being angry to being completely hollow.

Every day, I watched them being affectionate while I broke down in tears.

I followed them and heard them talk about me with total contempt.

It turned out they had been together for a long time. I was just too blind to see the signs.

The vitamins I took every day had been swapped for drugs that caused hallucinations and mental breakdowns.

Tyler told my parents I had postpartum depression that turned into schizophrenia.

When my parents tried to take me home, he poisoned my daughter and conspired with my father's business rivals to ruin them.

I watched Tyler call me stupid, and a sense of total powerlessness washed over me.

I wanted to kill them both.

As the years passed, my daughter, Annie, grew up to be a beautiful girl, but Tyler and Tara crushed her self-esteem.

Tyler even tried to trade Annie to one of his clients to close a deal.

Seeing him groveling like a dog made my blood boil. I tried to claw at him again.

But my hands just slipped through him like mist.

I could only watch helplessly as Annie sat on the edge of the roof, covered in bruises, and jumped.

I hated everything. Why did the universe punish me by making me watch everyone I loved leave me?

My soul began to burn, and a sharp pain consumed me instantly.
