Chapter 3

Kaiden's Pov

Kaiden opened his eyes slowly and saw that it was already morning. Looking beside him he saw that he was alone in the bed. He figured that the maid must have already left. He stretched in his bed before he stood up and walked towards his windows.

As he opened his windows he stepped out unto his balcony to look out at the land surrounding the villa. His family's villa was not only on top of a hill but further at the very back of the property was the sea with his family's marina.

He closed his eyes as he allowed the wind blowing from the sea to calm his nerves. He smiled as he looked at everything that would soon be his. But then his smile slipped away as he thought about his soon-to-be ex-wife.

Just a few days ago he was dreaming of showing her this view but now the only thing that he wishes to do was make her family suffer. He clenched his jaw in anger he make everyone who looked down at him suffer.

He continued staring coldly out at the villa's hedge maze until he heard a knock on his door. " Who is it?" he called out. " Mr. Reign's I'm here to tell you that breakfast is ready also I'm here to clean your room," the maid said.

" Come in," he said. A maid walked into the room carrying cleaning supplies. She bowed to Kaiden and then began tidying up his room. He nods to the made as he walked into his bathroom. His bathroom was large and luxurious and decked out fully in black and gold his family's colors.

After he took a shower he wrapped a bathroom rub around himself and then walked out of his room towards the balcony he knew that breakfast would be served. As he strode through the house all the maids curtsied to him as he strode past them.

As he reached the balcony he saw the kitchen staff laying out a variety of dishes on the table. " Morning sleepy head sleep well?" she said before she took a sip of her earl grey tea. As Kaiden took a seat the chefs bowed and then left the siblings to speak privately.

After he took up a fruit bowl he looked at his sister. " How are things in the family?" he asked taking a bit from his fruit bowl. After his sister finished explaining the state of his family he nods in satisfaction. After the two siblings finished eating the maids came by and cleared the table.

After the two of them finished catching up on past events Emily placed down her tea cup and looked at Kaiden seriously. " So what's your plan?" she asked. Kaiden placed down his tea cup and then looked at her. " As I said before I want you to continue running the family while I wreak my revenge," he said.

Emily sighed her violet eyes weary " Look I know that they humiliated you, but are you sure you want to get revenge Mom did always say to turn the other cheek" she said. Kaiden scowled " I'm sure Emily I've been through too much just to let them get away with humiliating me like that," he said.

She sighed again. " Look I might not like the idea of wasting your time on these commoners but I'll help you, so what's the plan?" she asked. " Oh sis," he said with a laugh while shaking his head. " You should know me by knowing I always have a plan.

Emily raised an eyebrow at him " We'll let's hear it " she said. As Kaiden began explaining his plan to his sister whose face remained expressionless as she listened to her brother.

But a slow smile breaks across as he finished explaining his plan to her. " Well I always knew you were a cold calculating bastard like Dad, but this plan of yours puts anything he would think of to shame," she said with a grin on her face.

Kaiden smiled coldly " Thank you Dad did always say I would surpass him," he said with a grin on his face " We'll sure did," she said picking up her flute of champagne and prompting him to do the same.

" To revenge a dish best served cold," she said clinking her glass against his. " I'll drink to that," he said. Later after finishing speaking with his sister. He left the family villa so he could enact his revenge. He was driving his old Corrola instead of one of his new sports cars.

Instead of driving towards his meeting with the chairman of the EDM group a global cooperation that a family friend owned. He drove towards the bank so he could check to see how much money was on the card his sister gave him. As he drove down platinum boulevard one of the most lavish and exclusive parts of the city.

He could see many well-dressed pedestrians pointing to his old beat-up car with looks of disdain on their faces. Soon he pulled up outside of the Emerald Bank. He stopped behind a black Lamborghini.

Where the waiting Valet took the man's keys to park his car. As he moved further up the valet that stood there had a look of disdain on his face as he looked at Kaiden's car. As Kaiden stepped put dressed in his simple t-shirt and jeans the look of disdain only grew.

" Good Day sir I'm afraid you are at the wrong place, but if you got lost on your way to new star bank Id be glad to give you directions," he said. Kaiden looked at him. " I'm in the right place," he said and then tossed his keys to him. The Valet struggled to catch them but Kaiden only smiled as he strode past.

" Try not to scratch my car ok," he said. The Valet scowled as he looked at the old beat-up car and then mumbled something before he got into the car and then drove it away. The security guards posted at the doors gave Kaiden strange looks as he strode past them into the lobby of the bank.

The lobby of the emerald bank was grand and luxurious with many well-dressed individuals going about their day, Kaiden knew that all of them were wealthy because to be a member of the bank you had to have a net worth of over 30 million.

So he could understand why he was being given looks of disdain as well as looks of confusion dressed in his simple jeans and t-shirt as he strode towards the front desk secretary. The secretary stood up as she saw Kaiden striding confidently towards her.

She was dressed in a grey pencil skirt and a white button-up blouse with her long red hair done up into an elegant bun. She gave Kaiden a polite tight-lipped smile " Good morning Sir I'm afraid you're in the wrong place, if your looking for the new star bank is be happy to give you directions" she said.

Kaiden only looked at her " No I'm in the right place" he said. She pressed her lips into a tight-lipped smile and then continued " Then how may I help you, Sir?" she asked him. " I would like to check how many funds I have available on my card," he said.

She raised an eyebrow and then looked Kaiden up and down. She knew that to get even the silver card the lowest card that the bank offered you needed to have a net worth of 20 million so if he was telling the truth then perhaps he was secretly a rich man that didn't want to draw attention to himself.

" Sir may I see the card please?" she asked clasping both her hands in front of her. Kaiden went into his pocket and then took out his wallet where he takes out a black and gold card with a gold dragon insignia engraved on it.

As he placed it on the counter her eyes widened as she looked at the card in astonishment as she recognized the card. This was specially made for one of the bank's majority shareholders the Reigns family. She looked at Kaiden in disbelief while he did have the exotic beauty his clothes and eye colors looked nothing like a Reigns.

She scowls as she looked at him. " I'll have to call my manager to verify this," she said. Kaiden waved his hand nonchalantly. " Go right ahead," he said. Giving him one final scowl she went to her computer and then went to her cell phone telling them about the situation.

Soon an elegant-looking middle-aged man wearing a blue woman's blazer pantsuit. She looked excited coming out of the elevator thinking that one of their largest shareholders where visiting the bank today. But as she got closer she just saw Kaiden standing there dressed like a poor man.

Her smile was instantly replaced by a frown. " What's the meaning of this and who is this?" she addressed the secretary. The secretary clasped both her hands in front of her. " It's as I said before ma'am this gentleman here came in saying he wanted to check how much money he had on his card and then gave me the shareholders card," she said.

The manager frowned " It's obvious he's lying and stole this card, to get one of these cards you have to be a shareholder and our stokes go for hundreds of billions of dollars does this bum look like a billionaire to you" she said.

The secretary looks at Kaiden and then shook her head " No ma'am but I was afraid that he was disguised to look poor" she explained. The manager sneered "Open your dam eyes you know very well what a Reign's looks like and this man lolooksothing like a Reign, it's obvious he's a thief why haven't the police been contacted?" she asked.

Kaiden had a cold look in his eyes as he looked at the manager looking around he saw that not only have the security guards inched closer to stop him from escaping, But the other patrons have also stopped to watch the unfolding drama, some of them with their phone's already out videotaping.

Kaiden then pinned the manager with a cold and blank look. " And what gives you the right to disrespect and threaten innocent people?" he asked voice cold. The manager stared at him and with a snide tone of voice finally answered.

" Oh please I'm the manager of this branch of the Emerald Bank one of the largest and most powerful financial institutions in the world, and your just a lying thief now I'll give you one chance to admit your wrongdoing," she said.

Kaiden's eyes and aura only became colder " And if I don't?" he asked. " Then I'll call the police and I'm sure you won't be able to afford bail based on how you're dressed," she said.

By now many of the other patrons had already begun taking in the drama unfolding and by then they were openly mocking him. " Look at this poor bum trying to act like he's rich" one man laughed.

" I'm telling you poor people are so delusional these days, not only has he been lying but now he's trying to pretend that he's from the most powerful family in the world how truly shameless" one woman said to her husband.

Many other insults and taunting words were thrown Kaiden's way. Seeing that everyone was now firmly on her side she turned her nose up at him. " As you can see everyone now see's that a liar and a thief but I'll give you a chance to repent for your sin's by kneeling and admitting your wrongdoing in front of everyone and who knows I might even give you a hundred dollars so you can buy something to eat as you need it," she said causing everyone to laugh.

Everyone began taunting Kaiden calling for him to kneel and beg for forgiveness like the good obedient dog he was. Kaiden's eyes were cold and emotionless as he took out his phone and then dialed a number.

Thomas picked up on the first ring. " Yes, Mr Raines?". " Thomas I'm here at the Emerald Bank on the platinum boulevard is the CEO present?" he asked. " Yes Sir Mr Cameron is there for a business meeting," he said. Kaiden continued looking at the manager blankly.

" Good patch me through to him," he said. " Right away Sir" He was then connected to the CEO. " Mr Reign's it's good to hear from you again how may I help you?" he asked.

" I'm in the downstairs lobby you have two minutes," he said simply. The man yelped" Right away Sir I'll be there right away" he said. " Good," Kaiden said simply before he hung up. The manager had a teasing and convincing smile on her face as she watched Kaiden.

" Oh this is hilarious your a fantastic actor and liar I'll give you that much, do you honestly think any believes that you just spoke to Mr. Cameron this is priceless," she said causing everyone to laugh.

Kaiden just looked at her simply "You'll find out the truth in a minute" he said. She laughed again " Ok I'll humor you I'll wait and if Mr Cameron doesn't come down in a minute ill have my guards beat you and then turn you over to the police" Kaiden only hummed in response and that annoyed her that he wasn't bothered in the slightest.

She opened her mouth to say something more but before she could the CEO elevator opened and Mr Cameron came sprinting out looking worried. Everyone had looks of shock on their faces as he hurried towards the gathered crowd.

The manager's face went white as she saw the Ceo marching towards them. She then took a step back and then looked at Kaiden.

" Who the hell is he?".
