Silas was about to sit down, but he jumped like he'd been electrocuted.

"What? Vera, you're pregnant? Are you serious?"

My two sisters were laughing like maniacs in my head. I could barely keep a straight face.

I stroked my flat stomach, ignoring the two shadows behind the door that were shaking like leaves. I let a perfectly soft, maternal look reach my eyes.

"Yes, two months. Silas, we're having a baby."

Silas froze. In that moment, I looked radiant and soft.

It was a side of me the three brothers had never seen.

The shadows behind the door shook even harder. I didn't even blink.

Two months. According to their rotation schedule, this baby would have been Finn's.

I used to wonder how Silas had the energy to go all night every night.

It was fun, sure, but even a thousand-year-old demon like me was getting exhausted.

It turned out these three were taking shifts. None of them wanted to miss out on the fun.

【Ugh, I thought they were just playing with her. How could they get her pregnant? Don't let the male lead be seduced by this trash!】

【She probably stole his DNA to get pregnant. So shameless!】

I ignored the live chat comments. I kept flirting with the man in front of me until Silas's ears actually turned red.

Nice try, boys. You want to play with me? I'll play you until you're dead.

After dinner, I was dragged to the race track. The man beside me had already been swapped for Lukas.

"Today is Serena's birthday. We agreed on a race. You're not going to back out, are you?"

I frowned and touched my stomach. My eyes were watery as I put on a weak act.

"But I..."

Lukas stared at me for a few seconds. His hand, usually so steady on the steering wheel, almost touched my belly. He caught himself and coughed.

"Don't be a buzzkill. A two-month-old fetus isn't going to fly out from a few turns."

Lukas clicked his tongue impatiently. That wild streak of his was actually kind of charming.

Too bad he was rotten to the core. No matter how hot he was, I wasn't keeping him.

Before I could answer, Serena roughly shoved me into the passenger seat.

"Vera, everyone is waiting. Lukas is the best driver. Nothing will happen, I promise!"

She acted like I didn't exist and blew a kiss to Lukas. The crowd at the track started whistling and cheering.

【Omg, Lukas won't even look at that old woman. I love this!】

Lukas patted Serena's head and gave me a look of pure contempt.

"Stop wasting time. See how sensible Serena is?"

Before I could even click my seatbelt, the car shot forward like an arrow.

"Silas! Slow down, please!"

"Heh, Silas..."

The man gritted his teeth and slammed the gas pedal to the floor.

"That nerd could never drive like this."

"What? The wind is too loud! I can't hear you!"

I kept up the act. Suddenly, I felt the seatbelt loosening.

"Lukas! The seatbelt is broken! Stop the car!"

He didn't listen. He pulled a series of sharp turns that made my insides feel like they were shifting. We headed straight for the final ninety-degree turn.

"Watch this!"

Snap. The seatbelt gave way completely. I was thrown from the car, slamming heavily into the bushes with a sickening thud.

Lukas crossed the finish line. Serena ran up to him with teary eyes.

"Lukas, you're incredible! That stunt was one of a kind!"

"Anything for you."

【Lukas is so sweet! Serena is like a delicate little cupcake. I totally approve of this couple!】

So the "gift" she wanted for her birthday was to see me thrown out of a car like a ragdoll.

"Stop faking it. Falling into the grass won't kill you!" Lukas shouted toward the bushes.

I glanced at the red light flashing on the hidden camera on my chest. I used a small spell to block the pain and rolled my eyes, forcing myself to pass out.

Evidence piece number one: obtained.
