My arrival at the office caught everyone's attention.

Keegan looked me up and down with a sneer. He didn't even try to hide his whisper to the person next to him.

"Is that really Sia's husband? He looks like a walking skeleton."

"You guys said I look like him? No way. I'm not a corpse."

Keegan was right. With how thin I had become, a skeleton was the perfect description.

The person next to him nudged him, trying to shut him up.

"Hush! He's still her legal husband," they whispered.

"Careful, or Sia will make you pay for that."

Keegan didn't back down. He glared at me and raised his voice so the whole floor could hear.

"Hey, Arden! Why didn't Sia pick you up?"

"That's weird. She picks me up for work every single morning and brings me breakfast."

"I thought she'd treat her husband way better than a mere intern."

His words were a blatant provocation.

I had never seen a side piece act so bold before.

But I shouldn't have been surprised. Sia spoiled him rotten.

Since our wedding, Sia had a revolving door of lovers. She brought them home one by one just to humiliate me.

She'd be intimate with them right in front of my face.

Usually, those men didn't last more than a week.

Keegan was the exception. She had kept him around for almost a year.

She bought him a luxury condo and kept him like a prize pet.

Every weekend, they went shopping, saw movies, and went on fancy dates.

To the outside world, they looked like a normal, happy couple.

She gave Keegan her heart.

But she never brought him to our house.

She only showed me their photos and their steamy texts.
