Gradually, I began to notice something was off.

She did not treat Brock like a brother. She treated him like a lover.

Whenever I asked about it or tried to stop her from running to him, she would snap at me self-righteously.

“He is my brother! He just got out of prison and is struggling to adjust to society. I have to support him!”

As time went on, she grew increasingly impatient with my questions. Sometimes, she would even spend the night at Brock’s place.

I told her to come home, pointing out that Brock was an unmarried man.

Instead, she pointed a finger in my face and screamed at me.

“Only a filthy mind sees filth everywhere! We are completely innocent! We are just normal siblings!”

What kind of siblings hugged, made out, held hands, and slept in the same bed?

When I finally caught them in the act, it felt like lightning struck my skull.

I demanded a divorce on the spot.

Kelsey was sharp. She realized during our argument that I already knew about their filthy affair.

She begged me on her knees not to leave, swearing up and down that it had just been a one-time accident.

She claimed that after so many years together, she could not bear to lose me, promising we would go back to living peacefully.

Looking at the woman I had loved for over a decade, I caved and forgave her.

After that, Kelsey cut ties with Brock on the surface, but they kept in touch behind my back.

Since they did not meet in person, I turned a blind eye and pretended not to notice.

It was not until she lured me on a hiking trip and shoved me off a mountain peak that I realized how much she despised me.

Search and rescue teams spent two full days before recovering my mangled body at the bottom of the ravine.

Kelsey told everyone that I had simply lost my footing and slipped.

At my funeral, Kelsey sobbed hysterically, fainting several times to put on a show of unbearable grief.

Yet the moment the guests left, she was openly wrapped in Brock’s arms right in front of my memorial photo, acting like lovebirds.

Only then did I realize that it had all been planned from the start, just to steal my assets and run off together.
