The thought of taking down a pick-me girl with my boyfriend tomorrow put me in a great mood.

I hugged Gavin and fell into a sweet sleep. I even dreamed about destroying her.

As soon as the sun came up, I started getting ready.

Pink rhinestones, rosy blush, a pleated skirt, and ribbons... I put it all on.

I went for the full "soft-girl" aesthetic. Everything was as cute and kawaii as possible.

When Gavin saw me, his eyes nearly popped out of his head.

"Babe, you're too cute!"

He tried to come over and hug me, but I stepped back quickly. He grabbed thin air.

I spent three hours on this look. If he messed it up with his hugging, it would all be for nothing!

From the house to the party, I kept a three-foot distance from him to make sure he didn't ruin my outfit.

The moment we reached the VIP lounge at the venue, I heard a girl laughing inside.

"You guys have no idea how hard Gavin's new girlfriend is to deal with."

"I added her yesterday, right?"

"As soon as I did, she started interrogating me like a cop. She's so paranoid that something is going on between me and Gavin."

"If I really wanted Gavin, she wouldn't even have a chance, right?"

"..."

"Yeah, girls are so sensitive and dramatic. That's why I don't hang out with them!"

I bit my lip, feeling a bit annoyed. I almost regretted choosing the "fake sweetie" persona.

I should have just stayed in my "tough girl" skin and punched her into the wall!

But I was already dressed up, so I stuck with the plan.

Even as a fake sweetie, I could make her lose everything!

I gave Gavin a look to tell him to open the door.

When the door opened, I saw a girl with a ponytail surrounded by a group of guys. She was laughing hysterically.

One hand was on a guy in red, the other was around a guy in blue. She was even messing with a third guy's hair.

It was disgusting, but I held it in.

Gavin saw how awkward the scene was and coughed loudly.

Everyone in the room turned to look at us.

I immediately put on my sweetest smile and waved.

"Hi everyone! I'm Riley! I'm Gavin's girlfriend!"

I grabbed Gavin's arm and leaned my head on his shoulder.

Gavin stiffened. I could hear his heart thumping wildly.

He was blushing. Hard.

At the same time, all the guys in the room stared at me.

"Whoa, Gavin, your girlfriend is so cute!"

"Damn, I'm so jealous!"

"Gavin, teach us your ways! How do you get a girlfriend as sweet as Riley?!"

"..."

They were all complimenting me. I kept my eyes squinted in a smile and soaked it all up.

Jocelyn's face turned pitch black. When our eyes met, I saw a flash of pure malice.

A normal person would ignore it and plan their revenge.

But I was a fake sweetie. A professional one knows exactly when to cause a scene!

While she was glaring at me like she wanted me dead, I hugged Gavin tight and cried out in a scared voice.

"Gavin... why is Jocelyn looking at me like that? Her eyes are so scary."

"Did I do something wrong? Did I make her mad?"

I hid behind Gavin, looking like a kicked puppy.

Immediately, everyone turned to look at her.

Jocelyn was startled. She quickly hid her hateful look and forced a smile.

"Of course not! I was just thinking Gavin's girlfriend is so pretty that I got dazed."

"Who doesn't love looking at a beautiful girl, right?"

She explained with a smile, but her eyes were still burning with rage. She was forced to apologize and tell me not to be afraid.

Seeing her struggle to keep her face straight made me feel amazing.

This persona was definitely the right choice!

She half-heartedly comforted me, and I was "kind" enough to forgive her immediately.

The birthday boy arrived, and the party officially started.

Everyone started giving out their gifts.

When it was Jocelyn's turn, she handed over a flat box.

She made a huge scene, saying she spent forever picking out this "luxury" gift.

Everyone's curiosity was piqued. They started guessing what was inside.

A few guys started chanting for him to open it now, but Gavin tried to refuse.

Since the birthday boy didn't want to open it, no one could force him. They moved on to the next person.

I stepped forward to give my gift, but Jocelyn shoved me aside.

"It's just a gift, what's the big deal about opening it here?"

"To satisfy everyone's curiosity, why don't you just show us?"

Jocelyn shoved the gift into Gavin's hands again. The other guys were curious too and joined in the peer pressure.

Gavin couldn't say no anymore. He had to open it.

The moment the packaging was ripped off, a pair of silk men's boxers slid out of the bag.
